Leveling Up With LeoFinance! Be Diligent

I have finally reached a longtime meaningless goal of mine here on the blockchain. I have hit the Reputation Score of 70!

Reputation scored doesn't mean much other than you survived lol. It means you've been around awhile and have not given up. With each post and its consequent engagement, your score gets higher.

When you begin on Hive/Leo you start out with a 35 I believe and it quickly goes up into the 50's. But then it gets harder and seemingly takes forever.

You will notice very few accounts in the 70 range so I'm proud to be among them. I have never had much of a stake so in that regard I think 70 is an accomplishment I can feel good about. I honestly thought I would never get there.

I think that my last few months on Leofinance is what did it for me because votes count towards it and there a lot of high stake accounts on Leofinance spreading the love around. I think this would have never happened for me anywhere else on Hive.

From a Psychological standpoint I think people take you a little more seriously if you have a high Reputation Score but they shouldn't. It may signal to newer people that you've been around awhile, know the ropes and could be helpful to them.

I'm always available for helping people climb the ropes and doing what I can for the community so it may indeed be to my benifit to be a "70" but don't fret if you aren't. You will get there if you keep at it!
