What Happens When People Realize They Can't Lose Money On Hive?

The posts regarding HBD over the last few days and the subsequent rise of HBD savings interest to 15% have sparked a lot of excitement among the community. Especially here on Leofinance.

There are a lot wheels in motion creating several opportunities to earn and support the entire ecosystem. Imagine how enticing Hive will be if the interest rate for HBD actually gets to 20%?

It will force people to look at this blockchain that has seemingly been a secret for years. I often wonder why so many are tying to solve the problems that Hive already solves. I look at people aping into Deso with their stupid social media apps that will never work instead of aping into Hive. I just don't get it.

I don't get it because while I look at all the other platforms popping up on all these other stupid blockchains I know I'm hiding a terrible secret. The secret is the true gem of hive that seemingly doesn't exist anywhere else. The secret is that technically you can't lose your money!

I know this sounds crazy but it's true and I learned it first hand. No matter how dumb you are or how badly you handle your money, hive will rescue you if you put in the time.

Back in 2017 I sold my bitcoin to buy Steam. I did it because I got tired of watching my bitcoin value going up and down without any skill or method to grow it without investing. But, I saw how anyone can earn on Steam. I happened to buy my steam near its all time high and literally turned $4000 into a few hundred. It was pretty terrible but I kept posting and curating.

Once Hive was born I was made whole almost instantly and bought my same bitcoin back and earned 5x my initial investment over the next 2.5 years. I blew $4000 and with effort turned it into almost $25,000.

Now most people that read my posts know that I constantly make the wrong moves, can't understand trading or any type of technical analysis. It's just not my thing but Hive, Leofinance in particular always rescues me and protects me from myself.

There is no doubt in my mind that when the proper way to profit from all this new HBD stuff reveals itself I will make the perfectly wrong move but I won't end up losing money. I will make some.

It's almost silly that the crypto world at large has ignored us for years (granted a few exceptions). But, things are changing and it is going to happen fast. My plan is to do my thing. That is powering up my Leo and curating new accounts.

The reason for this is that once people realize they can't lose money on hive many of them will take their shot at blogging. It's up to us to support them in their efforts while they found their place and voice on our blockchain.
