Creating A Need To Get Rich Quick

Growing up in Africa, not in the deep dark part but still in Africa, you learn quite a few lessons about poverty and the mindset it brings in. You never bother to learn because you're too busy trying to get that next paycheque, that next meal, and if you're lucky enough to move into the middle or working class, you'll add a few additional dopamine hits.
Like the next holiday, the next outing, the next luxury purchase, be it branded clothing or a smartphone. The idea is often to "look wealthy" instead of becoming wealthy. It's easier to buy the new iPhone and a pair of Gucci or Jordon shoes than to save and invest your way out of poverty, and I get it, man; I fell for the same traps.
As decades roll on and wages continue to remain flat for most people, the desperation to get rich quick manifests in various ways. Before cryptos, MLMs, stocks, drop shipping, making a course, being a social media influencer or some other vapourware shit fest.
If you're not whoring yourself out for a few fiats, then you're never going to get rich.
Then Bitcoin came along
The worlds monetary system is broken, it's been broken for years, and the cracks were always showing only to be papered over with the same thing making the cracks, money printing. Now we have Bitcoin, an asset with perfect price discovery, and we can't handle it. We can't handle the truth, and Bitcoin is the truth, Bitcoin says go work hard and save in Bitcoin, and you'll be fine.
But no one wants to hear that shit; they want to hear moon, get something for nothing, you too good to work, waste your time shitcoin gambling.
Look, I get it; humans love to gamble, they want something for nothing, they want to believe in the moon shot, they want to feel they will hack their way out of poverty, and they're smarter than the system and everyone else.
I have no problem with people gambling; by all means, go ahead don't let me stop you, but don't sugar coat it with all this bullshit like its the future of dildos on the blockchain narrative you want to spin to avoid looking at the fact that you are a degenerate gambler.
Oh, look at the tech, look at the network effect, look at the developers, look at the celebrity investors, give me a fucking break.
Shitcoiners are dollar junkies
I get the macro environment has forced many of us to seek to get rich quick schemes. I get that you can throw away your morals and integrity for a few thousand dollars, but at least be honest about it.
Look how people celebrate when their shitcoin hits a certain dollar value, oh look I can get more dollars for my shitcoin. Yes, you're comparing two pieces of shit next to one another and celebrating your turd is a little bigger than the old turds you used to have.
It's such an open joke, honestly, I can only laugh when I see these posts. You're not in it for the shitcoin, you're in it for the dollars you can get out of that shitcoin, be honest.
I see so many people justify it oh look x guy with a YouTube channel said this lol well then sure take your investment advice from YouTube and don't think for yourself.
This is what I love about Bitcoin, it punishes economic miscalculation, and it's coming for every single shitcoin.
It's not what you know that blinds sides you, it's what you know that isn't so that sweeps your leg and leaves you on your ass.
Shitcoins are only a manifestation of peoples inner need to get rich quick, to get something for nothing, to gamble and that's fine but these narratives that it's anything else is laughable.
Defenders of the dumb
It's a free market, we can all do as we like, and I love that. Still, the amount of intellectual dishonesty and total misunderstanding of tech and economics is so blatantly stupid I can't even have these discussions with people.
Defend your shitcoin all you want. I don't care; I don't even defend Bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't give a fuck about me, it's going to do what it does, and I agree with what it does, so I am along for the ride.
