Got My First OneAlfa Vote!

It may sound a little corny but one of the things that I like to have is milestones when it comes to whales around here. I aspire to be graced with a vote from all of the whales at least once. I've gotten a few recently and really enjoyed one of the latest ones, One Alfa!

I've been graced with some good votes in recent days on some of my posts in the Leo community as well as some others like the normal Hive front ends. The Leo community is one that I'm getting more and more into as time goes on which shouldn't be a big surprise as how large the Leo community is but one thing I look forward to is when a post of mine not only attracts the normal users but when a whale takes a look at it and feels it deserves a little love, I feel honored!

I logged in one morning after waking up to do my normal morning routine to check what Hive has done while I was sleeping and I was surprised to see this one pop in my notifications on PeakD! Sorry Leo, I check PeakD before I check Leo most days :D Lol. Needless to say I was stoked! There's a bit of a dopamine boost one gets when they are on here and they log in after a post is published and see that it was well received not only from comments but from some votes that it gathers over time!

This post here was well rewarded on a Leo perspective and I got a whole lot of comments on it which was a really good thing for me. The comments on my posts have really increased and I am loving it! The interaction on Hive is awesome and the Leo community doesn't disappoint! I see more comments on Leo posts than I do most other posts, except for the KP Bros (Galen/Taraz) which is great. Engagement is key around here!

I've as well been inching closer to some of the other goals I have on both Hive and Leo for the year. I am hoping to hit 25k Hive Power by the end of the year and if I can manage to get some decent post rewards in the way I have been in the last few weeks, I think I'll be able to just squeak it in around the end of December with any luck! That was similar to what happened last year for me, I was able to squeak in on my goal of 20k Hive Power total at the end of the year and made it with a few days to spare. Can I make a similar feat this year!? 2,000 Hive Power is a fair bit of power to be able to get in 3 months LOL.

On the Leo side, I was able to cross 2k staked Leo Power on my curation dedicated account there! I was really excited about that one because I've been trying to post in the Leo community at least once a week or once every other week. It doesn't always work out that way but I am curating nearly every morning manually! I may end up moving to some automation in the near future to follow the trail of a popular voter like Alfa here perhaps, but one thing is for sure is that as my stake grows, the amount of Leo I am getting back in curation has increased nicely!

I was getting .5 Leo every 7 days for a while, then it moved down to every 4-5 days and now it's almost every day that I am getting the .5 Leo in curation rewards! One of the days I managed to get up to 1 Leo which was pretty badass. That wasn't a common occurrence just yet but hopefully it will be one day!

I am appreciative of the other votes I get too of course, Edicted has granted me with some good votes over the time that him and I have connected with each other here on Hive. There are some others that I have gotten some love from as well but don't want to go into every one. If you've hooked me up with a vote on something you find is a decent post, thank you!
