Today I have both great progress as well as a bit of a disappointment.

Searching Power

One of the really cool things I’ve been able to do on here is learn about and gain some tiny amounts of crypto through various things that are advertised on here. Some aren’t applicable for me since I live in the US but it works out in the end.

Presearch is definitely one of the better ones! I’ve explained about what I do in this post to earn the tokens. It’s not the fastest way to do things but it’s definitely a good way to do it. One of the really cool things is that Ive slowly accumulated 2100 tokens mostly by searching!

I’m also slowly getting people interested and using it frequently! If you are interested use the link for my referral in the post or in my signature below. The good thing about it is that while we earn tokens with each search, we are more importantly taking even the smallest market share away from companies like google. That’s honestly one of the more important reasons for me to be doing this. I try to do things that I can to reduce their influence in whatever way I can. Eventually I will be stopping using things like gmail but that’s a next step.

While I am in the process of doing that though, I am keeping up with trying to share the love about Presearch. It’s a really cool project and there’s a little bit of representation on here though I don’t remember his account name. I think Zeke knows who it is but I don’t want to tag him since I don’t talk to him much lol. It’s still great to get into though, they have a good leg ahead with revolutionizing how internet search advertising is done. It’s called keyword staking and essentially you an see how much someone is spending to keep the search result pointing to their advertisement. With companies like google it’s secret. Keyword staking is open for all to see so that’s awesome!

One thing I’m pumped about is that I’m up to 75 tokens claimed through referrals sticking around and using it! That’s awesome and I love seeing it grow and seeing people get into it!

Shuttering

One of the other things, which is why I’m tying it into this post here, I do daily using the Presearch site, is claiming faucets daily. The faucet has been a really cool way to make a little bit of extra coins I wouldn’t normally be acquiring. They have bitcoin, litecoin, bitcoin cash, dash and doge. Well they had those. They are shutting their websites down for new accounts and claiming rewards on January 31st. After that they are shutting everything down in February 28th or whatever the last day in February is this year. That’s sad and going to be a pretty good chunk of my Presearch activities. I search for the site daily to get the Presearch folks some traffic and I get a little bit of coin in return. Perfect scenario for me!

I get why they are doing it, the project started as a hobby and grew in popularity to where they are now spending way more time keeping it legit than anything so they are sick of that. They learned a lot and will be taking it into a new direction. I will definitely miss the little daily habit I have of claiming from it a few times a day. I could have definitely claimed more and earned more but you have to take what you can. Now I’ll finally get off my ass and get into the lightning network that @chekohler told me about several weeks ago hahaha. Sorry dude, my brain can only handle so many things at the same time!
