Week 18 Results | 24W-26L-9P | -0.342 Units Loss

This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The Final week of the year ended with a small loss which I don't mind taking. It was one of those weeks where things could have gone a lot better or a lot worse basically just grinding it out and building volume. I still very much enjoy it all and it remains profitable long-term having good confidence that overall I'm still beating the market. I won't change anything in 2023 and continue going about things in the same was as long as it keeps working. Bumps on the road are part of it and it would be normal for there to be a period at some point in time where things get a bit rough.

This week, in particular, was quite frustrating as I managed to just grind my way up with smaller win after smaller win often having positions where I was fully safe from losing anything just to give it all away on some bigger bets that lost in 1 match.

The pre-game bets shared in the previews as official selections that I track have cooled down but still overall have done +12 units or +10.37% after 117 bets which is really solid. I also will keep these going in the exact same way as I have been these past seasons.

Regular Season 2022-2023 Personal Betting Chart

I didn't stake as much as I aimed last week with only around 5 units in total, getting this up without exponentially increasing the risk and screwing up my chart remains a big objective but I'm not forcing anything. Basically what I should do is making 0.3 units or so the standard for smaller bets instead of going much lower than that on average. It's not always easy as some of these bets like the 1H corners only have around 0.05 unit limits based on my stakes which makes it quite hard to get in.
