I have been busy policing @sportstalk now for a good few months as I believe if you have stake you are helping to protect it's value. What is the point in just ignoring it as all you are doing is leaving it to someone else. What you have to understand is anything milked is hitting the exchanges and is diluting the reward pool effecting the overall price whether it is Hive, Leo or any other token.

The sports tribe had a system where they would warn users who were doing wrong and I felt that was sending the wrong signal. Certainly mistakes can be made and those should be obvious but then again someone who is milking knows exactly what they are doing and should be treated accordingly.

source Had 1 user yesterday complain why are you still downvoting him as his last post was genuine lol. When all the others weren't and now this is his first proper post? For me there is no mercy and you made your bed and now have to lie in it.

I found the 3 warnings as like having politically correct down voting which is some what of a joke. If something is wrong you call it out and nail it to the wall removing everything as it is stealing from the reward pool. As a stake holder it is your right to take the appropriate action and do what you feel is best for the community.

With the price of Hive being down where it is for a while the Hive community hasn't had loads of issues to worry about and can't be compared to what was seen 2 or 3 years ago. That doesn't mean it is not around and we should always be looking out for it.

Tribes like Leo who have seen their fortunes change with the token price rise needs everyone to be vigilant no matter how much stake you have. We all have 2 free downvotes per day and there is no excuse for ignoring stuff. Your downvote could highlight something that could possibly sneak through the cracks and your action could attract others to remove those rewards.

A prime example is @hivewatchers do such a great job and their one downvote helps guide me to where abuse is happening. Wrong tags is another which is more common and removing the rewards letting the user know of their error is the correct course of action.

Personally I think if the communities have this type of mindset now everyone will be well trained and ready when the bull run starts and suddenly Hive and the tribes are flooded with new users. If we can't do it now then what chance do we have when we are suddenly inundated with users specifically targeting easy rewards. that is why I think users should all be looking out for it no matter the size of stake as we all care no matter how big we are.
