And it really wasn't difficult, no need to be a salesman if the product sells itself right?

My girlfriend is used to me checking my phone each night because crypto never sleeps (just like this guy who checked crypto prices on his phone at his own wedding)

Last night was slightly different as she could tell I was excited by Cubs price increase resulting from the Cub Kingdom going live.

She's not as well versed in cryptocurrency as me but a lot better informed with personal finance. So when I told her the APY at that time was 70% it was simply too good for her to ignore.

5 minutes later she had her own Trustwallet (and a crash course on seed phrases and how to keep them safe) and £100 worth of BNB. Another couple of minutes later and there are now another ~120 Cub being hodled in the kingdom.

And just to sweeten her introduction to defi, the value went up $20 overnight!

Even if Cub stays at around $1 for the rest of the year, we'll still be better off than keeping it in a savings account. Here in the UK most bank accounts offer a pathetic 0.05% well under the 2.1% inflation rate.

She's already set up with a coinbase account (for the earn scheme), and who knows, maybe Hive will have a new poster soon.
