How do I implement my DCA strategy after comparing Hive prices in Binance CEX and Transak?

The price of Hive dropped from 50 cents a few days ago. See my previous post.

It is now standing at $0.4542 according to Binance CEX. The red candle looks inviting for scooping up some Hive, especially since I am adopting the DCA strategy in this bear market.

Checking out the price of Hive in PeakD (based on Coingecko), it reads $0.460. Understandably, its the average price, so it is higher than the Binance CEX.

As I adopt a DCA strategy by buying directly from Transak, these days the only price I care about is the one at Transak, purchased via credit card. I do this because I wanted to avoid the hassle of converting fiat to USDT to buy from the main exchange. As a matter of fact, I often miss the low prices because of my laziness in making DCA transactions. And I don't feel safe keeping load of USDT on the exchange.

Just how much is Hive if I bought it via Transak, incorporating the fees?

The answer is 1000 divided by 2071.33: $0.4827 per Hive.

I think its a good enough price. I go with Transak whenever I want to DCA. So long as Hive price falls below $0.50, I DCA with my credit card. Have it send to my Hive account, put in a sell order above $0.50 and I will profit. The HBD stays in the account waiting for the next buy order in the Hive market to be activated.

So today is a good day, because I paid the price of $0.4827 per Hive. Happy.
