These are good responses. I have been playing for over a year now (I think) lol, can't actually remember. It feels like forever. Actually, I think it may have only been since June. I basically got in right before Chaos Legion packs came out.

Anyway, I way overspent on getting some of the beta, untamed, and dice cards, and then maxed out a Chaos deck and have done the same with Riftwatchers. I bought some land right before it took off (lucky) although I still paid around $100 for a plot so it's not that great of a deal anymore.

My goal is to make it to Champion and start collecting bigger rewards. I almost made it last season. I had two battles that, had I won, would have taken me over the number. I lost them both, of course. lol It's giving me hope though.

Right now I'm just trying to collect rental income and use that to buy some of the cheap cards out there. I really think land is going to hit the market hard when people find out how many cards it's actually going to take to work your plots. Hopefully it creates a big boom in the Splinterlands economy. If it could happen to coincide with a recovery in the real-world economy and the return of the bull, it could be a wild ride. Fingers crossed.

My ultimate goal is if my account ever becomes worth enough to pay off my house, I'll try and cash out and do that. Taking a mortgage payment out of the equation for the rest of my life would be a serious relief on the financial side. Stranger things have happened. If we get another big boom like what happened to the Beta and Untamed decks, it's certainly possible. Until then, I'll be battling away, trying not to punch my computer screen when my 6 speed flyer gets hit and poisoned by his blinded 3 speed melee while my 5 speed poison guys miss. But I'm not bitter at all... :-)
