It's still the path of least resistance for most people right now. Twitter and Facebook and YouTube are easy. End of story. Hive and 3speak etc. have a learning curve. Until you have an actual reason to go through that learning curve, most people are going to stay with easy. The reasons mount every day, thus more and more people are searching, but you have to want to be on Hive to get here. It's hard to just stumble across it and enter. That said, the projects being built are starting to provide plenty of reasons. We just have to continue to make those reasons known to the rest of the world and continue to make them easier to use once they get here.
