I think the Boise comparison is a good one. Not a place many would think of but a thriving city off by itself. Before you named your city, I was thinking Omaha, Nebraska or possibly even Des Moines, IA. Hive feels more like a comfortable, midwestern town in the middle of "flyover" country. It's got a lot of the amenities but it doesn't get the attention and it definitely doesn't cost as much as the others. The "cost of living" is very inexpensive but the opportunities are all still there. Everything just moves at a slower pace off the radar.
