Is it just me, or isn't it incredibly easy to spend crypto profits without feeling the pinch of the money leaving your pocket?

As far as I know, one other person, my brother, has confirmed I am not alone in this experience.

Recently, we were sat down to discuss our portfolios and recommending to each other projects that we had come across that either of us might want to have a look at.

He was particularly appreciative of my most recent advice to get in on RUNE when it was at $5 and now he is up massively in profit.

Those profits came right on time because it enabled him to replace his old TV that had been damaged by my little rascal of a niece a few months back. After making that purchase he noted that he didn't experience any hesitation forking out well over $500.

"I can make all of this back in under two weeks," he said.

A few days earlier I had also made a much-needed purchase. A 24" edge-to-edge Dell monitor to help improve my productivity and it has. I no longer have to minimize the Splinterlands website so that I can enjoy the gaming experience. I can split windows side by side for my copywriting freelance jobs as well as other cosmetic benefits.

When I ordered it, I did not bother at all to bargain considering it was not a brand new monitor. The seller had quoted it at around $160. Later on, that evening after the monitor was delivered I saw the same seller advertising it on his WhatsApp status at $20 less than what I bought it at.

Wow...

I felt cheated. I was ready to pay the $160 because I knew I could make it all back on CubFinance in under a week.

To add to that, the exchange rate right now guarantees me 113 Ksh per dollar and I don't have to pay taxes on this income - shhhhhhh!!

Therefore, I am struggling to see how this experience can only be limited to two people.

There are people right here on Leofinance who trade using 10X leverage with considerable regularity and I doubt anybody who gambles that hard with their assets feels the pinch making thousands of dollars in purchases let alone hundreds.

I wonder, is that why extremely wealthy people end up spending money on seemingly vain things? They know that all that money they spend will be earned back quite quickly without much hustle.

Don't get it twisted though, I am incredibly broke! :(
