Music has always been a great passion for me. As a kid, I'd dabble in the world of music, writing songs and using the television remote as my mic and the mattress as my stage.

The world of music is as vast as the world at large but when it comes down to it, it's all about money. Yesterday, I spent half the day with my mentor and one other Hiver and I must say it was as productive as it was fun.

My mentor has been talking of his plans to relocate and during the conversation, we somehow started talking about skills that are necessary for survival in a place like that. He mentioned coding and computer programming and how you can get hired by just being good at what you do. Sad that in Nigeria and other some countries, that's not the case.

I felt mortified when he spoke about a man who lived in Japan and still paid tax to the U.S government. While talking, it moved on to the careers and smart work of people.

He said something I found so true. Career people like to show off and they do it because they can. We, who are into the crypto business can not. Nigerians would understand this very well.

As people dealing in the crypto-verse, all eyes are on us and unfortunately, the eyes we have attracted seem to be either jealous or lecherous. I saw the FBI in a new light yesterday.

I began to wonder what I'd do when I take this love for music to the next level using the blockchain. Like, crypto breeds attention and music garners fame. What do you think? Recipe for disaster?

Meh. I don't think so but who knows? I really can not imagine me paying taxes but it is a must. My mentor said it's better to have two bank accounts. One for income, the other for taxes. However, most big shots walk their way around taxes. Funny? Still working for them. Doesn't mean it would work for you unless, you're billions of dollars rich with kick ass lawyers and strategic advisors? I still don't know.

I have also been thinking of how to generate more income since I already quit my job. I got into Splinterlands not long and have been earning DEC. I am still working my way round to understand the complex world of blockchain gaming.

I really look forward to combining my favorite things to do and money. To be honest, If what you're doing isn't bringing money your way, it is a total waste of time.
