Never stop learning.
I realize what makes Nigerians so unique and different is they always have a good understanding of something, that might be knowledge they learned from their parents or somewhere because most parents in Nigeria want their children to know about something apart from education, education is important but you know what that can put food on your table.
Education is the key but unemployment in Nigeria is at its peak and there is no guarantee that if you finish school you are going to see a job immediately and that’s what prompts the idea of seeking knowledge aside from education and this has been helpful for many because if not for this many youths will be jobless.
Most youths are not fully dependent on their certificates to make a living but instead, they focus on extra knowledge gain and use this for the main time before an opportunity to work for the government showcase itself. Nigerian parents have turned this into a habit and it has been helpful so far because they know the importance of investing in yourself.

The mistake some people make is relying on school certificates alone, this might make sense in foreign countries but in Africa where opportunities are scarce this is a terrible idea. Even if you are the lucky type that gets a job immediately after school you still need to have some other plans in place because when you lose your job another one won’t come easy.
Knowing different things will make you more valuable to yourself and society, we are in a world where information can be easily accessed and those that are paid for is not even expensive so what is stopping anybody from having knowledge about different things, the world is ever-changing and we must change with it because what we know might be outdated any time.
We must keep moving forward by investing more in ourselves and the truth is no knowledge is lost you will always need it in the future or someone around you it for something which will make you more valuable.
