Learning More About Trading | Aprendiendo Más Sobre Trading

Today I thought about doing something different in my blog. It has been some time since I made a post directly on leofinance.io because I have something important to share. For the past few weeks, I have become more interested in learning about trading. I have a lot of experience in crypto. I know what a blockchain is, the principles of web3, and how to make transfers in several chains. I also know how to make deposits, withdrawals, and P2P trades on Exchanges. But I don't know much about trading, and with this bear market another source of income, it will be very helpful.

This is why I was interested when I saw that a friend called Octavio Mata created a new trading group for people with 0 experience. So far, I have attended two classes, and I have completed the following:

• I created a new account in an Exchange called Bybit. I have bought a handful of their token, called BIT, and will start participating in several token airdrops.
• I've identified which type of investor I am, and I've noticed that I'm very risky and need to diversify my portfolio.
• I've learned that it is very important to check the volume in the last 24 hours, and if the volume has decreased and the coin hasn't dropped in price, it might be a good signal to buy. Of course, depending on other things.
• I've learned what a derivative is and how to place long and short orders.
• There are other basic things that they have taught, but I already have lots of experience on them.

Some of the apps they are recommending are:

• Bybit: Android - iOS
• Metamask: Android - iOS
• CoinMarketCap: Android - iOS
• Authenticator: Android - iOS

In this mini-course, they have left homework too. The first was to research a project similar to Decentraland (MANA). This is because one of the things that are trending at the moment are the metaverse, play-to-earn games, web3, and gaming in general. I found several projects in the top 10. We have The Sandbox and Enjin Coin. But I found another very interesting project called Gala, a platform with many blockchain games. I will make another post about this project soon. I'm still researching, but I already have an account, and I tested one of the games.

The second homework is to define Dollar Cost Average. I can define this the following way: It is an investing method where you set a specific budget, and every day, week, or month you buy the same dollar amount of crypto without looking or caring about the price. This way, you will have several entry points on the market, and it usually gives a better ROI. It is a more secure way to invest in Crypto and other assets. The opposite is to buy all in at a specific time, but if you do this at the top of a bull run and the price drops, you can lose a great chunk of your investment.

Another recommendation is to use TradingView. This brings me back to the days when I was studying Forex. TradingView is an app and website where you can check all the graphs, analyze the price, draw trend lines, Fibonacci, and other advanced things. Many TradingView users share their ideas and market analysis, it is a good place to have an idea of where the market is heading, but I know that in the end, I have to make my own research and act accordingly.

Hoy he pensado en hacer algo diferente en mi blog. Hace tiempo que no hago un post directamente en leofinance.io porque tengo algo importante que compartir. Desde hace unas semanas, me he interesado más en aprender sobre el trading. Tengo mucha experiencia en cripto. Sé lo que es un blockchain, los principios de la web3, y cómo hacer transferencias en varias cadenas. También sé cómo hacer depósitos, retiros y operaciones P2P en Exchanges. Pero no sé mucho de trading, y con este mercado bajista otra fuente de ingresos, me será muy útil.

Por eso me interesé cuando vi que un amigo llamado Octavio Mata creó un nuevo grupo de trading para gente con 0 experiencia. Hasta ahora he asistido a dos clases y he realizado lo siguiente:

• He creado una nueva cuenta en un Exchange llamado Bybit. He comprado un puñado de su token, llamado BIT, y empezaré a participar en varios airdrops de tokens.
• He identificado qué tipo de inversor soy, y me he dado cuenta de que soy muy arriesgado y necesito diversificar mi cartera.
• He aprendido que es muy importante comprobar el volumen en las últimas 24 horas, y si el volumen ha disminuido y la moneda no ha bajado de precio, puede ser una buena señal para comprar. Por supuesto, dependiendo de otras cosas.
• He aprendido lo que es un derivado y cómo colocar órdenes largas y cortas.
• Hay otras cosas básicas que han enseñado, pero ya tengo mucha experiencia en ellas.

Algunas de las aplicaciones que recomiendan son:

En este minicurso también han dejado algunas tareas. La primera fue investigar un proyecto similar a Decentraland (MANA). De esta manera, tendrás varios puntos de entrada en el mercado, y suele dar un mejor ROI. Es una forma más segura de invertir en cripto y otros activos. Lo contrario es comprar todo en un momento determinado, pero si lo haces en la cima de una racha alcista y el precio cae, puedes perder una gran parte de tu inversión.

Otra recomendación es utilizar TradingView. Esto me lleva a los días en que estudiaba Forex. TradingView es una aplicación y un sitio web donde puedes comprobar todos los gráficos, analizar el precio, dibujar líneas de tendencia, Fibonacci, y otras cosas avanzadas. Muchos usuarios de TradingView comparten sus ideas y análisis del mercado, es un buen lugar para tener una idea de hacia dónde se dirige el mercado, pero sé que al final, tengo que hacer mi propia investigación y actuar en consecuencia.
