It's a Silver Round, Charlie Brown!

         Buying silver has gotten a lot less exciting recently. Most of it is because I haven't found anything unique closer to the spot price I would like. So, I decided to buy several generic 1-oz bars to compensate.

         There are a few different mints in the picture. The obligatory American flag was a must. Cause 'Murica.

         On some occasions, I look into rounds to satisfy that collector's desire. I was happy to pick up this piece. As I typed this, I noticed that APMEX put out more Peanuts themed silver rounds in their inventory. Good thing it's a new month. I'll get to them at some point.

         Then, APMEX taunted me with this:

         I want to try my hands at it since they are guaranteeing the pieces be .999 fine silver. It will be the full "life is like a box of chocolate" experience. I hope I find some cool and unique pieces.

         As an FYI, APMEX currently only offers free shipping for orders over $199. It's not as bad as the $300 minimum when the Covid lockdowns started. Sometimes, shipping cost could be as high as another ounce of silver. So, it might be best to bite the bullet and spend a bit more.
