I have many more followers on Twitter due to using it more than any other. I find out about more breaking news there than anywhere else. I find that posting and just as importantly, commenting, are good wats to increase your follower count. I only wish that LeoFinance would list my followers bt the mose recent instead of in alphabetical order as it makes it harder to find and followback my newest followers.
