I like your description as streets being the artery of the economy. Like rivers of economic activity that nourishes the nation. This reminds me of my friend from Indonesia who I met at school in Germany. He would show me videos on his phone like this and laughed when I told him I always would get Indonesia confused with Malaysia, I think because they both end in "sia."
