I have seen double listings on Google over the years. Some people are so good at it that they can dominate the upper reaches of that valuabe first page of Google.

Since most people rarely search beyond the first three pages, that's where we want to be found.

During the Steemit days, people laughed at Jerry Banfield and his super-long posts, but I kept finding his stuff in Google search terms.

This is why I think we need to focus on rewarding long-form content as we do short-form, as those meatier blog posts containg lots more data for Google to crunch through.

It may not be something that everyone can do, as we need our short-form kings as well. But I think if we ignore long-form content on Hive, we do so at our own peril.
