I think you'd need a much better reason to start a business than just because someone else is doing it.

Suppose they have started one at the wrong time or the wrong location? You would be copying their failure.

If you're going to start a business, it should be with a strong plan and knowing you have a product that fills a need in the market. Do your research first and set yourself up for success.
