As for it being rigged, I think that's a bit of a stretch. In the end, odds are simply human opinion. Just the bookmakers setting payouts based on the flow of money so they profit no matter who wins.

That horse was obviously not you holding a dildo as a golf club, trying to win a major. People just thought it was.
