#Askleo - When and how did you become a monetized content creator?

Bienvenidos nuevamente estimados lectores, una iniciativa en forma de pregunta lanzada por la cuenta de @acesontop, hace algunos días ha estado generando algunas historias muy interesantes y con las cuales me siento identificado y con la que también quiero participar agregando mi historia, ser creador de contenido, ha sido algo que desde niño me ha fascinado desde el 2007 o 2008 con aquellos populares vídeos que salían en Loquendo, en esa etapa todo lo que podría considerarse como contenido monetizado todavía estaba en desarrollo, para terminar englobando y generando millones con el curso de los años, aunque en un principio no apostaba por la monetizacion de contenido, siempre fui muy dado con las redes, participando en pequeños proyectos locales, como en la radio de mi ciudad, en la creación de vídeos deportivos y otros pequeños proyectos mas, esto sin embargo no estuvo exento de problemas, como estafas, sobrecarga de trabajo y mala paga, cosas que hicieron que fuera abandonando dicha pasión, al notar que no era algo viable ni rentable en cuanto a tiempo y esfuerzo dedicado todo esto ocurrió entre lo que seria 2015 e inicios del 2020, 5 años un poco difíciles económicamente hablando.

Welcome back dear readers, an initiative in the form of a question launched by the account @acesontop, a few days ago has been generating some very interesting stories and with which I feel identified and with which I also want to participate by adding my story, being a content creator, has been something that since childhood has fascinated me since 2007 or 2008 with those popular videos that came out in Loquendo, at that stage everything that could be considered as monetized content was still in development, to end up encompassing and generating millions over the years, although at first I did not bet on the monetization of content, I was always very given with the networks, participating in small local projects, as in the radio of my city, in the creation of sports videos and other small projects more, this however was not without problems, such as scams, overwork and bad pay, things that made it was abandoning that passion, to notice that it was not something viable or profitable in terms of time and effort spent all this happened between what would be 2015 and early 2020, 5 years a little difficult economically speaking.

Uno de estos proyectos, que estuvo en mi mente durante el periodo del 2018 mas o menos, era montar o colocar una tienda online de camisetas, que aunque no podría calificarlo totalmente como monetizar contenido, pues ningún diseño hasta el sol de hoy fue vendido, si puedo decir que fue uno de los primeros intentos que hice de buena, según recuerdo, esta pagina donde se suponía que podría recibir pagos por tus creaciones si las compraban y las colocaban en una camiseta, era Spreadshirt, aun operativa hoy en día según entiendo, pero donde no me fue tan bien y mi moral volvió a caer debido a la presión de estar en una situación delicada, abandone las redes y me concentre en estudios y trabajos fuera de la red.

One of these projects, which was on my mind during the period of 2018 or so, was to set up or place an online t-shirt store, which although I could not fully qualify it as monetizing content, because no design to this day was sold, if I can say that it was one of the first attempts I made of good, as I remember, this site where you were supposed to get paid for your creations if they were bought and placed on a t-shirt, was Spreadshirt, still operative today as I understand, but where I did not do so well and my morale fell again due to the pressure of being in a delicate situation, I left the networks and I concentrated on studies and work outside the network.

Pero ya en el año 2020, ante la inconformidad de un trabajo que no me aportaba lo suficiente, decidí volver a buscar opciones para obtener ganancias al menos como un extra, estaba mas decidió que nunca pues no quería, me negaba a tener que conformarme toda la vida con un sueldo tan bajo, y como no, leí entre comentarios de un grupo de telegram las primeras menciones de hive, la cual, en un principio pensé que solo se trataba de una pagina PTC o algo así, entre esa inconformidad estaba también mi prima @sugarelys quienes ambos pasábamos por situación similar, pero que teníamos ambos la ambición de lograr salir a como de lugar de donde estábamos y cambiarlo todo,poco iba a saber
yo que esta nueva "cosa" llamada Hive me cambiaría la forma de pensar y que me abriría la puertas a un mundo totalmente nuevo, las primeras publicaciones, empezaron a ser redactadas, con algo de miedo e incertidumbre, pues todo me resultaba bastante nuevo, pero poco a poco, empece a ver y a explorar mas y mas, donde me interese por Threespeak, donde empece a colocar un simple vídeo de unos pocos minutos, y donde obtuvo buenos votos, todo eso vino en el curso de los primeros 3 meses de entrar, que fue un 29 de abril, no lo podía creer, y muchas veces incluso hoy, no lo sigo creyendo del todo, ¿pensar que por escribir, hablar y desarrollar un tema estaría recibiendo recompensas? era increíble.

I knew that this new "thing" called Hive would change my way of thinking and would open the doors to a whole new world, the first publications, began to be written, with some fear and uncertainty, because everything was quite new to me, but little by little, I began to see and explore more and more, where I became interested in Threespeak, where I started to post a simple video of a few minutes, and where it got good votes, all that came in the course of the first 3 months of entering, which was an April 29th, I could not believe it, and many times even today, I still do not believe it at all, to be rewarded for writing, talking and developing a topic I would be receiving rewards? It was unbelievable.

a partir de entonces, empece a descubrir, a probar y a dedicarme enteramente al mundo de la creación de contenido, indagando en Lbry, viendo en Uptrennd y muchas otras plataformas mas, que hasta ahora habían sido desconocidas para mi hace poco, hasta ahora me he sentido muy cómodo y contento con todo lo que he logrado en hive y actualmente sigo creando blogs variados para Gems y mas recientemente, dedicando algunos para la comunidad de Leofinance, siento que aquí, están las raíces que me harán conocer mas y mas de todo el universo de las criptomonedas y que poco a poco, podre contribuir mucho mas a todo este universo de entretenimiento y finanzas.

Since then, I started to discover, to test and to dedicate myself entirely to the world of content creation, digging in Lbry, looking at Uptrennd and many other platforms, which until now had been unknown to me until recently, so far I have felt very comfortable and happy with everything I have achieved in hive and currently I continue to create blogs for Gems and more recently, I feel that here, are the roots that will make me know more and more of the whole universe of cryptocurrencies and that little by little, I will be able to contribute much more to this universe of entertainment and finance.
