Recently, and old friend of mine reached out asking if I wanted to join him to build a Norwegian Crypto Community.

Seeing the obvious potential benefits to Hive/Leo in doing so, I obviously entertained the idea and heared him out. After all, such a community could either be integrated with or built on Hive/Leo itself, or it could be a group that I could easily introduce to and recommend our chain and communities to.

My friend though, who is your typical StartUper and Doer with a big D, was most enthusiastic about simply building a community fast and try to monetize it by having subscriptions. So obviously, by the time I was done thinking out loud about pros and cons of doing it, he had already made a website, created a Facebook group, designed a banner, and invited a bunch of people under the slogan of "join us in building Norway's biggest online community for those interested in cryptocurrencies!".

Boy I love entrepreneur-types.

So within minutes, we had a few people already talking crypto stuff. Having just posted an article to Hive and LeoFinance myself about how price only matters when you sell myself, I saw the obvious chance to plug it, and a few people ended up reading it and reacting.

It struck me then how easy it really is to promote projects on Hive and as a result also our token(s). So for this post, I want to give some ideas and thoughts for small things we can all start doing today to help the value of our time here grow.

Help grow LeoFinance and Hive by sharing great articles in outside communities!

If you're part of any crypto-communities, or communities of other topics of interest for which there may exist some good content creators on Hive for that matter, try to make it a weekly habit to share at least one of the best posts you've seen on LeoFinance on Hive there.

It doesn't even have to be something you've written yourself. Just driving new traffic to our sites and thus raising awareness of our projects is a great contribution. Of course, it should fit well in with the discussions taking place elsewhere, but if you try I know for sure that you'll always find some content here that may be relevant to an outside conversation.

One also does not have to make a deal out of the payouts on the posts. Trust me, people will notice it and get curious.

Online communities with a special interest in one topic is a great place to have a high impact sharing content from your favorite Hive or LeoFinance writers.

And if you can't find a great article to share, then write a post answering a question, or providing an opinion on a subject that you see discussed, somewhere else on the web, and then share it there. I see a lot of people trying to incentivize Hive and LeoFinance users to share their posts to their own Twitter accounts. However, this is usually only reaching the people already following you and browsing the #hive tag and/or @LeoFinance mentions. Adding a link to a relevant post in a discussion, thread, or forum, however, will reach new people.

So let's make it a thing! I would love to see some initiatives take place where people share some good experiences and advise on how to reach as many people as possible with links to our articles that convert into new page visits, and who knows, perhaps more users and investment.

Just my few cents of the day on how we can all help improve the network effect of our platforms and thus the value of our tokens!
