I've always liked playing games. In my youth I spend hours and hours of playing all sorts of games.
When I registered on Hive I discovered blockchain based games. It was exciting to see how playing games not only cost you time, but also could pay off.
I've started playing some games on the Hive blockchain, but also discovered some games on other blockchains as well.
In this blog I will tell you a bit about my experiences.

I've been playing @cryptobrewmaster for quite some time now. I've seen all the new buildings arrive which made de game much more interesting.
Last week they started giving Hive rewards on the events which was a nice incentive for people to go for a top 10 position in one or more events.
I rented some buildings and started collecting and brewing last week. This resulted in a sixth place in the Resource producer event and a sixth place in the top manufacturer event:

I received 9 Hive for each of the events.

They did change the amount of Hive you can win this week, but still it's an overall of 840 Hive that can be won!

I've been spending quite some time in this game last week, so I'm not competing in the events this week. I'll just collect my ingredients and beers this week and join in next week.

![image.png](https://i.imgur.com/0EFzXG3.png) dCity is another game I've been playing for a while. In the beginning I invested a couple of Hive to create a city to start with. Especially the part of creating a bit of passive income made me interested in the game. I didn't want to invest a lot in the game, so it took me a while to reach the goal I had set: 800 SIM a day. I wanted to reach this goal to be able to buy a new card every day and that way make my city grow a little bit every day. And this what my city looks like today:

I've invested mostly in farms and in education because I also wanted to receive some Tech cards in the Daily-Drop. I managed to raise the chance on a Tech card to 7%. It took a lot of days before I received my first one yesterday (Basic Automation), but received another one today (Robocop) which was very nice!
I keep investing the SIM I collect in my city. The next goal is 1600 SIM to buy two cards a day! < Alien worlds is a new game I discovered. Actually Game Master @khazrakh discovered it for me. I read his post about this game and it got me interested in this mining game. This game is still in alpha version, so basically the only thing you can do now is mine. With mining you earn the in game currency (TLM) and NFT's. These NFT's can be staked or sold on a market place.
I've already collected my first NFT's; A standard axe and a standard sword.

I've also invested some of the TLM I earned to buy a second tool that could improve the mining: Maybe I'll have some luck and dig up a rare one.

It will be interesting to see how this game will develop. There are some inactive buttons like "manage land" and "thunderdome" that reveal something of the future updates.

Sorare is being advertised as a Global Fantasy Football game, but I rather call it a soccer manager.
I've started playing this game about two weeks ago. You have to select a squad of 10 players. These are real player from real competitions. From these players you have to pick 5 that will gather points for you in a tournament. Tournaments are started every couple of days.
When you end up high in the rankings you can win free player cards. In the first round I competed I won Arsenals Fabinho:

You can also buy players on the market. Depending on the rarity they can be very expensive.

This round is finished tomorrow and I'm on the 224th place of 3447 now, so maybe I will receive another player card to improve my team!
