Splinterlands , Investment Opportunity Grabbed!
what i'm about to describe in the following lines explains (at least from my perspective) why @splinterlands is not only a simple Card Game on HIVE Blockchain but it actually offers an investment opportunity for all of you out there
of course this doesn't mean that i encourage you to put your crypto in Splinterlands, this will be your, and only yours, choice i 'm just trying to give you an insight of a different aspect of the Game and the vast community behind the game

first of all, let me remind you that the official coin of the Game DEC can be now used in our beloved CUBdefi
you can now use DECs in order to Farm CUBs in a DEC-BUSD pair with a deposit fee of 2% and an APR of 262% by the time i'm writing this post
so it's not just winning some 'useless' DEC tokens by playing,but you can instantly use them to farm CUB
now let's get to the point
Splinterlands is not only about playing the cards, Splinterland is collecting , Splinterlands is trading ,Splinterlands is investing in Future values
it doesn't mean that whoever is involved with the game must be a player as well!
yeah of course i play the game and i really really enjoyed it but it doesn't mean that everybody do the same
that's why i always say that getting involved with Splinterlands is never too late
the other day while i was checking on the market about some cards missing from my collection and actually are important in my gameplay i found out something really really interesting a Special Gold Foil Alpha Edition of Spineback Wolf was sitting there on my screen for 55 $
the interesting part was actually kinda hidden cause by that time there were 3 cards of this monster on sale and the first one which was shown on my screen was a lvl 4
just letting you know that because of rarity Gold Foils Alpha Edition come the minimum on lvl 4 and not lower than that so somebody would not bother checking the other 2 cards as most of the times they are the same lvl but higher price
but here comes the best part by accident, totally by accident i clicked on the cards and what i saw made me skeptical i saw a lvl 8 Gold Foil Alpha Edition Spineback Wolf at a price of 61$ sitting there and wait for someone to purchase it the actual price of a lvl 4 Gold Wolf was 55$ so i hope you understand my surprise looking at an upgraded version at a price of 61$
for those who have no idea about the game i'm saying that in order to upgrade this specific card to lvl 8 you need...listen to this please...you need 11 ( lvl 4 ) cards!!

you need 11 lvl4 cards on order to be combined and give you a lvl 8 Spineback Wolf
can you calculate the price?
let me do the math for you 11cards * 55$ each = 605 $
yes this is actually the price you need to pay in order to get a lvl 8 Spineback Wolf
and it gets better
that specific Spineback wolf was a lvl 8 but it had 13 cards combined which means the owner tried to upgraded even more to lvl 9 but for some reason stopped the card though holds this 13 BCX (cards combined) value so the price is not 605$ but 715$
so what was the case?
'there must be a catch' i was thinking, this cannot be true
there's something wrong with the picture which i cannot see
how on earth a card of a 715$ can be on sale for 61$?
i tried to search every single aspect, couldn't find anything
everything was correct expect the price
i went back and forth you have no idea how many times i tried to search every single aspect of this i found out that in order to get an Alpha Edition lvl 8 spineback wolf not a Gold Foil but a regular one you need to combine 129 BCX cards valued right now at 31$ this was ridiculous ,a regular one sitting at 31 dollars when the Gold Foil one at 61$???? i started feeling agony, i had to purchase that card immediately this doesn't happen every day, actually i don't believe it would ever happen again
cut the long story short i purchased the card like a maniac, like a crazy maniac!
i believe i hit a hell of a deal which will skyrocket my account and my whole experience in Splinterlands
this is what i'm talking about when i say there is room for everybody in the Game you don't have to play the cards in order to make money the cards are NFTs the cards are unique, and not unique like this stupid nyan cat which was sold for something like 600.000$? i really don't know but it looks like so stupid to me, 600.000$?? come on! Splinterlands cards at least have a utility, you play with them! you win cryptos with them! if i possess a card it is mine and only mine and i'm using it, not sitting there just looking at it
anyway this card could have been bought from anybody and be sold for a higher value today we speak!
of course i'm not going to let this card taken away from me
i have great plans for it
this is my flag, it is the best card i have the highest lvl in my possession
it belongs to my favorite Splinter ,the Death Splinter and i also know the whole story behind Spineback Wolf
i love Wolves after all
it was a bargain, i feel very extremely lucky i was there the right time
my thoughts are that probably the seller, listed the card long time ago,very long time ago, when prices were very low and didn't bother to check on his list and update the price
or
i don't know maybe he needed desperately the cash, i have no idea
the actual price i paid for it, BCX speaking was 4,69$ for each BCX, this was the price 2 years ago not today
it is considered an investment for me and my cryptos and we'll see what future hold for us!
you looking for NFTs? why don't you look for Splinterlands instead?
