Rising Star is a pretty interesting blockchain game, one that you can get into for free and slowly grow; however, you can also invest in the game to make your growth faster.
On numerous occasions I have invested in the game, buying packs of cards, 12-pack offer, or individual cards on the market. I recently bought two 12-pack offer and today I will talk a little bit about that topic, analyzing how was this purchase, I hope you like it.
If you play RisingStar, you will be aware of the prices of the packs and even the approximate price of certain types of cards, such as some common and rare cards.
However, for those who do not know, in the game you can buy packs of 3 cards to add to your collection and gain certain attributes, such as Fans, Skills, among others. The price of these packs is 10,000 Starbits or 4 Hive and you can buy as many as you want.
Now, in the game there is an offer that allows you to buy 12 packs for 100,000 Starbits. I have bought this offer several times. I recently bought this offer twice, that is 24 packs of cards.
Below I will leave you a table with the prices in STARBITS of each pack and the prices of the 3 cards they contain. This data is for the first 12 packs, which I bought first:
There is some interesting data in this table. As I mentioned, each pack of cards costs 10,000 Starbits. If you look at the "Total" column (the light blue one), you will see the value of each pack on the market, based on the prices of each card at the time I made the purchase.
Some packs are worth more than 10,000 Starbits, while others are worth less than 10,000 Starbits and some are worth about 5,000 Starbits (half the cost of a regular pack).
You can also see in the final total box that the value of the 12 packs is 114,124 Starbits, 14,124 Starbits more than the amount invested (100,000 Starbits).
We could say that it was a good offer of 12 packs, but not always good cards come out in these offers, I will show you an example with the other 12 packs of cards I bought.
In the image above you can see the first pack. I got two instrument cards and one common card: i65 Melodica, 78 Dean and RI75 RSG Waves. The total market value of these three cards is 4,549 Starbits; that is, if I had bought this pack individually, i.e. at 10,000 Starbits, I would have paid that price for 3 cards that cost less than 5,000 Starbits on the in-game market. Not a good pack.
The second pack of cards I opened is not so bad, because there is an instrument, a vehicle and a rare person card. Normally, when rare person cards with a decent amount of fans come out in the packs, the value of the pack is high.
In this second pack I got another i65 Melodica, a t2 Mid Range Tour Bus and a RI84 Pascal. On the market, the total value of these 3 cards, at the time of purchase, was 8,107 Starbits. When compared to the individual price of a pack of cards (10,000), the value of this is still below.
The third pack is the same as the first, two instrument cards and one common card. On the market, the total price of this pack is 4,769 Starbits, well below the 10,000 Starbits that an individual pack would consist of.
Next, I leave you a table to summarize the 12 packs. In this table you can see the same information as in the table of the previous 12 packs; value in starbits of each card and the sum of these to give us the total value of each pack.
As you can see on the right, I marked with the addition and subtraction symbol the packs that are above or below the 10,000 Starbits. In the case of this 12-pack offer, almost all were below 10,000.
However, there was only one pack that exceeded the value of 10,000 Starbits, the last one. It is this one:
In the pack I got two common cards and one of a vehicle with a good value on the market, RI40 Touring Coach. The value of this pack, as seen in the table above, is 31,879 Starbits.
Of course, I have been comparing the value of each pack with 10,000 Starbits, which is the individual price per pack. But when we buy the offer of 12 packs of cards, the individual price of each pack is reduced from 10,000 Starbits to 8,333 Starbits, 17% less.
This table above is from the second pack of 12 cards, the one I already showed you. Notice the addition and subtraction symbols on the right. If each pack is compared with the price they have when purchased in the 12-pack offer (8,333 Starbits), it turns out that there were at least 3 packs that have a market value higher than their price.
If we analyze it well, it is worth gathering for the offer of 12 cards instead of buying packs of cards one by one, because the packs are cheaper; however, in the end, each one manages in the way he/she sees fit and within his/her possibilities.
Interesting, isn't it? I love to do this kind of analysis, I find it entertaining to see how well I did with my purchase and these things. In the end it doesn't matter much if we did well or bad, just keep playing, doing quests, lessons, keeping an eye on Ego and we'll be fine, but at the very least it's interesting to see pack purchases from this perspective.

En numerosas ocasiones he invertido en el juego, comprando paquetes de cartas, combos de paquetes de 12 o cartas individuales en el mercado. Recientemente compré dos promociones de 12 paquetes y hoy les hablaré un poco sobre ese tema, analizando qué tal estuvo esta compra, espero les guste.
Si juegan RisingStar, estarán enterados de los precios de los paquetes e incluso el precio aproximado de ciertos tipos de cartas, como algunas comunes y raras.
Sin embargo, para quien no lo sepa, en el juego se pueden comprar paquetes de 3 cartas para añadirlas a tu colección y ganar ciertos atributos, como Fans, Skills, entre otros. El precio de estos paquetes es de 10.000 Starbits o 4 Hive y se pueden comprar tantos como quieran.
Ahora bien, en el juego hay una oferta que te permite comprar 12 paquetes por 100.000 Starbits. Yo he comprado esta oferta varias veces. Recientemente compré dos veces esta oferta, es decir, 24 paquetes de cartas.
A continuación les dejaré una tabla con los precios en STARBITS de cada paquete y los precios de las 3 cartas que contienen. Estos datos son de los primeros 12 paquetes, los cuales compré primero:
Hay datos interesantes en esta tabla. Como ya les mencioné, cada paquete de carta cuesta 10.000 Starbits. Si se fijan en la columna "Total" (la azúl claro), verán el valor de cada pack en el mercado, basándome en los precios de cada carta al momento en que hice la compra.
Algunos paquetes tienen un valor de más de 10.000 Starbits, mientras que otros no llegan a esa cifra e incluso algunos tienen un valor cercano a los 5.000 Starbits (la mitad del costo de un paquete común).
También pueden ver en el cuadrito final de total, que el valor de los 12 packs es de 114.124 Starbits, 14.124 Starbits más de lo invertido (100.000 Starbits).
Podríamos decir que fue un buen combo de 12 packs, pero no siempre salen buenas cartas en estas promociones, les mostraré un ejemplo con los otros 12 paquetes de cartas que compré.

Sin embargo, solo hubo un pack que superó el valor de los 10.000 Starbits, el último. Es este:
En el pack obtuve dos cartas comunes y una de un vehículo con un buen valor en el mercado, RI40 Touring Coach. El valor de este pack, como se observa en la tabla de arriba, es de 31.879 Starbits.
Claro, he estado comparando el valor de cada pack con 10.000 Starbits, que es el precio individual por paquete. Pero cuando compramos el combo de 12 packs de cartas, el precio individual de cada paquete se reduce de 10.000 Starbits a 8.333 Starbits, un 17 % menos.

Si lo analizamos bien, vale la pena reunir para el combo de 12 cartas en lugar de comprar packs de cartas uno por uno, pues salen más baratos los paquetes; sin embargo, al final cada quien se maneja de la manera en como lo crea conveniente y dentro de sus posibilidades.
¿Interesante no? Me encanta hacer este tipo de análisis, me resulta entretenido para ver qué tan bien me fue con mi compra y estas cosas. Al final no importa mucho si nos fue bien o mal, solo hay que seguir jugando, haciendo misiones, lecciones, vigilar el Ego y nos irá bien, pero cuando menos es interesante ver las compras de packs desde esta perspectiva.
