I read the first 5% of Leofinance Whitebook version 1. To be continued every few days, Khal said. This 5% has over 5100 words. Does it mean the whole thing has 100k words, more or less? Wow! What we know because it was disclosed is that it has 276 pages in full. That's a lot of time Khal spent writing and continuously updating it. The least we can do is read it and offer feedback.

There's quite a few information to go over.

But what really stuck in my mind from the time of reading the material are the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) the team has set for Leofinance.

  • Monthly Active Users: "~6x our MAUs to 5,000 MAUs" at year-end
  • LeoFinance Activity (Posts and Comments): "~1000 unique posts per day on and 4,000 comments per day" by year-end
  • DailyLeo Newsletter: "25,000 subscribers" at year-end
  • Site Traffic: 10x the traffic numbers from 2021

These KPI targets - except the DailyLeo one - refer to leofinance.io, not the whole suite of products under the Leofinance umbrella.

If we would talk about the whole suite of products, Project Blank alone would most likely blast through 2 or 3 (depending of its initial success) out of the 4 KPI targets. But they are different projects with distinct targets.

But even for leofinance.io, these seem reasonable targets, because all roads and connections between the team's projects lead or should lead to leofinance.io.

On another hand I want to mention something here.

Even though leofinance.io is designed to be a central point where community gathers, from the KPI targets set above point of view, having a mobile app and then Project Blank will split the usage and affect the following domain-based targets:

  • MAU (possibly),
  • Leofinance activity (probably) and
  • site traffic (certainly).

On combined KPI targets, if some users start to use the mobile app instead of the desktop app or later Project Blank, the activity remains at least constant, but most likely grows exponentially for all targets. It just won't be all on leofinance.io.

That doesn't mean leofinance.io domain won't hit KPI targets for 2022. Obviously I want to! If something like Splinterlands summer happens, those targets will seem incredibly low. It doesn't even have to be at that scale to make everyone on Leofinance incredibly happy.
