It looks more intimidating than it is, once you figure things out. Just like BSC the first time. Matic itself is identical for the user to BSC / Ethereum, since they all either go through Metamask or through a platform with familiar UI on important aspects.

The only new thing is the bridge (well, and the faucet, if we consider that worthy to note).
