Dan Larimer Agrees To Have A Public Conversation. Will Vitalik Accept The Challenge?

This is a follow up and an update on my post from two days ago, where I shared an idea of Vitalik Buterin VS Dan Larimer Debate Hosted By Hive. Many on Hive do not use twitter, and may have have missed Dan's response. I had a busy day and only saw Dan's tweet an hour ago. Feel free to visit the tweet and express your interest in such a public conversation between these two brilliant minds of blockchain technologies.

This was a simple thought that I think would be really interesting and educational to see, especially if it is hosted on a decentralized platform like Hive. I didn't expect anything to come out of it, still don't. It was a pleasant surprise to see Dan's tweet welcoming this idea. Here is what Dan has tweeted:

I would love to have a public conversation with @VitalikButerin I have much respect for his work even if we disagree on things from time to time. I think we could both learn something and everyone would benefit.

We are 50% there. Now if Vitalik accepts this invitation, this may actually happen. Of course this is a big question. Will he? Considering that Vitalik and Dan have known each other for a long time, and Vitalik is familiar with Hive blockchain and its community, he might just say "Why not? Let's do this!"

I really do see some educational benefits of such a public conversation. Many commented in my previous post expressing similar interests. I suggested that hosts of Community Coin Talk or CryptoManiacs would be great to host this conversation. I haven't asked them directly though, so not sure if they are even interested. CryptoWendyO liked the idea too. Maybe she could organize such an event?

Let's hope there will be another surprise tweet and this time by Vitalik. If not, it's ok. At least we tried.
