I'm a post hive-fork user and I still remember when I started jusy like some others I still follow, and now I see we are above 70 of reputation, and thats because we had been very active over the years (its almost 2 years for me)... For me, the reputation number is more of a sign that the user has been in hive for a long time and knows how it works, not much of a value thing.

I also know a person that got his account destroyed by a whale (more than 8 million hp, and mostly delegated) after he was mean with him in a picture, so he got a 100% downvote.

For me the reputation is not much of a value indicator because of the many variables that comes together to be reflected in that number (even today), but its still something to be proud of when we see a high number in our account.
