Selling useless knowledge is also a scam / Vender conocimiento inútil también es una estafa

There are many ways to lose money nowadays, and pyramid or ponzi schemes, binary options and other schemes that have been built so that people who enter lose money and the creators of this structure get rich with little effort and other people's money, are not the only ones.
There is another type of scam that has the same or more time than the ponzi schemes, and they are the sale of useless knowledge, and that usually comes in the form of trying to make us understand that there is a problem and that the person is going to help us solve it with an education package that we must buy and that is going to show us everything to be able to solve it.
So far so good, but the problem is that once we have paid for the education package, we start to see that the knowledge given is not something really important, and we can see that if we apply this knowledge in what they really made us think was a problem, there is no change in our quality of life.
In addition to this, we have those who try to offer us a secret to success or a better way to speak a language in just 1 month (fluently) without studying grammar or some summary of a book that does not reflect the actual content of the book, and in these cases I refer to people who have been able to pay advertising on Youtube, so they are closer than we may think.
These types of scams are not something new, and in fact could have happened several centuries ago with other types of knowledge, such as creating gold through a little sand, or how to create a house with few resources, and in all these cases we have some similar characteristic, it is useless knowledge that is sold to those who do not know how to distinguish between a fantasy and reality, but unfortunately there will always be people who fall for these scams.
Certainly we cannot know everything, and much of the knowledge we can get is based on paying someone who already knows about this, such as consultants or academies that are dedicated to this, but it is still true that we have to be very critical with the reputation and comments that this academy or person has received from other customers.
We can not know for sure if someone is a scammer or not, but we can have an idea of how useless is the knowledge he has, based on the experience of other people, and if he has no experience giving classes to other people, it is difficult for us to have confidence and give high amounts of money.

Existen muchas formas de perder dinero en la actualidad, y las estafas piramidales o esquemas ponzi, opciones binarias y demás esquemas que se han construido para que las personas que ingresan pierdan dinero y los creadores de esta estructura se hagan ricos con poco esfuerzo y el dinero de los demás, no son las únicas.
Existe otro tipo de estafa que tiene igual o más tiempo que los esquemas ponzi, y son la venta de conocimiento inútil, y que usualmente viene en forma de intentar que entendamos que existe un problemas y que la persona nos va a apoyar a solucionarlo con un paquete de educación que debemos comprar y que nos va a mostrar todo para poder solucionarlo.
Hasta aquí todo está bien, pero el problema se encuentra en que una vez que hemos pagado el paquete de educación, comenzamos a ver que los conocimientos dados no son algo realmente importante, y podemos ver que si aplicamos estos conocimientos en lo que realmente nos hicieron pensar que era un problema, no hay algún cambio en nuestra calidad de vida.
Además de esto, tenemos a quienes intentan ofrecernos un secreto al éxito o una mejor forma de hablar un idioma en apenas 1 mes (de forma fluida) sin estudiar gramática o algún resumen de un libro que no refleje el contenido real del libro, y en estos casos hago referencia a personas que han podido pagar publicidad en Youtube, por lo que están más cerca que lo que podemos pensar.
Este tipo de estafas no son algo nuevo, y de hecho pudo haber ocurrido hace varios siglos con otro tipo de conocimiento, como crear oro a través de un poco de arena, o como crear una casa con pocos recursos, y en todos estos casos tenemos alguna característica similar, es conocimiento inútil que se vende a quien no sepa distinguir entre una fantasía y la realidad, pero lamentablemente siempre van a existir las personas que caen en estas estafas.
Ciertamente no podemos saberlo todo, y mucho del conocimiento que podemos conseguir se basa en pagarle a alguien que ya sabe sobre esto, como a consultores o academias que se dedican a esto, pero no deja de ser cierto que tenemos que ser muy críticos con la reputación y los comentarios que ha recibido esta academia o persona de otros clientes.
No podemos saber con certeza si alguien es o no un estafador, pero si podemos tener una idea de que tan inútil es el conocimiento que tiene, con base en la experiencia de otras personas, y si no tiene experiencia dando clases a otras personas, es difícil que podamos tener confianza y dar altos montos de dinero.
