Taking risks does not mean going YOLO - Arriesgarnos no significa ir YOLO

These days I was watching an instagram account that talks about finance and entrepreneurship, and one of the articles he made referred to the fact that entrepreneurs have several characteristics and among all these, we have that we seek risks, which called my attention, because I personally feel like an entrepreneur, and although I agree with the criteria he said, there is much to be clarified with this aspect.
An entrepreneur is someone who must know a little of many things and specialize in something where he can be the best, but one of these important things to know refers to the rules of investment, where is the risk management, and what happens is that we can not put all our eggs in one basket (diversification), we must evaluate the possible losses and gains of our movements, and analyze very well what we do before doing it.
What I want to get to is that as entrepreneurs if we assume risks and we can even enjoy them, but this does not mean that we do it without thinking about the possible consequences, as this would be the opposite side of a person who avoids all risks, and personally I must say that if I see the risks and losses as something possible and that does not stop me to do something that I must clarify very firmly, make sense in the numbers and that can have a good profit.
We simply do not take risks for the sake of taking risks, as this in the long run can have a negative outcome and that can affect us a lot, but we do take risks in a reasonable way and understand that there is always a way that we can lose, but that which we lose is something controlled and widely known to us before we make the move.
The world would be a different place if there were no people who took risks to create innovative products or services and that can not be denied, but we can not deny that the probability of failure is very high and that we do not always win, as we see how great companies have had great failures, which can also happen to us.
Risks are something normal in our lives, and we cannot idealize those who take them, nor hate those who do not, because maybe those people know something that we do not, and each person is different, as well as each entrepreneur can tolerate a possible loss and not another, which is normal.

En estos días estuve viendo una cuenta de instagram que habla sobre finanzas y emprendimiento, y una de los artículos que hizo se refería a que los emprendedores tienen varias características y entre todas estas, tenemos que buscamos los riesgos, lo cual me llamo la atencion, porque personalmente me siento como un emprendedor, y aunque estoy de acuerdo con los criterios que decía, hay mucho que se debe aclarar con este aspecto.
Un emprendedor es alguien que debe saber un poco de muchas cosas y especializarse en algo donde pueda ser el mejor, pero una de estas cosas importantes para conocer se refiere a las reglas de la inversión, donde se encuentra la gestión de riesgo, y lo que ocurre es que no podemos colocar todos los huevos en una sola canasta (diversificación), debemos evaluar las posibles pérdidas y ganancias de nuestros movimientos, y analizar muy bien lo que hacemos antes de hacerlo.
A lo que quiero llegar es que como emprendedores si asumimos riesgos e incluso podemos disfrutarlos, pero esto no quiere decir que lo hagamos sin pensar en las posibles consecuencias, ya que esto sería el lado contrario a una persona que evita todos los riesgos, y personalmente debo decir que si veo los riesgos y pérdidas como algo posible y que eso no me detiene a hacer algo que debo aclarar muy firmemente, haga sentido en los números y que pueda tener un buen beneficio.
Simplemente no asumimos riesgos por asumirlos, ya que esto a largo plazo puede tener un resultado negativo y que puede afectarnos mucho, sino que si asumimos riesgos de forma razonable y entendemos que siempre existe una manera en que podemos perder, pero aquello que perdemos es algo controlado y conocido ampliamente por nosotros antes de hacer el movimiento.
El mundo sería algo distinto si no existieran las personas que asumieron los riesgos para crear productos o servicios innovadores y eso no se puede negar, pero tampoco podemos negar que la probabilidad de fracaso es muy alta y que no siempre se gana, ya que vemos como grandes empresas han tenido grandes fracasos, lo cual también nos puede pasar a nosotros.
Los riesgos son algo normal en nuestra vida, y no podemos idealizar a quienes los asumen, como tampoco odiar a quienes no lo hacen, ya que tal vez esas personas sepan algo que nosotros no, y cada persona es distinta, como también cada emprendedor puede tolerar alguna posible pérdida y no otra, lo cual es normal.
