Hi Historians

As promised the last part of the Clovis to Republic portraits.

Let's go immediately to the pics of the 1/4 ouncgold coins.

The order is Napoleon, Napoleon III, Raymond Poincaré (no ic I now realize) , Charles de Gaulle and Francois Mitterand.

So that is it. With the weight of each coins already worth 500 EUR nowadays and the premium at the time some 30% this 15 piece serie is quite expensive. MIntage was 1500 per coin and I have only once seen a complete serie being offered but not sold.

I am keeping this one for some years to come

Till we have great leaders again! Worthy to put on a coin I mean.
