New Reward Cards - My views

Splinterlands team always come up with new ideas to improve the game and to add value to the game ecosystem.  They recently made a big change in the daily and season end reward system. Previously the players were getting the reward in the for of Reward cards, packs, SPS and Merits. In new system the major change is for reward cards, the new sent of reward cards are non transferable and no tradable cards and they name it Soulbound cards.
As per the recent posts by team the cards will be made tradable and traferable after they reaches the print limit. The exact mechanics is not clear yet but the one important point I remember was that the maxed cards only allowed for burn mechanism.

The early players are seen a major change in reward cards. In the initial days of game the players were rewards with the Beta packs as daily and season end rewards. Afterwards they were replaced by the Reward Cards. When I entered in the game the Alpha packs were official sold out and Beta packs were on sale. I remember the price of reward cards was very low as the players were putting the reward cards earned from the daily and season end on market, which flooded the market and resulting in low price of cards. To solve the issue the team changes the rewards cards system many time in past and now the Soulbound cards is another addition which will surely help and will support the ecosystem.

Till now I have received 11 type of new cards and will level up over the time. The only was to get these card is to play the battle and earn. The new reward mechanism will effect the price of cards as well as the game play also. The new ability to summoners enable them to use Gladius card in ranking battles and I must say this will be creat a huge change in game play. Some if the Gladius cards are very strong and they can chnage the battle at their alone.
