Long-tail keywords are definitely easy to rank. Especially as most of them are low-competitive that has very low search volume.

However, if I am able to rank my content with basically just a fraction of optimization, and if that content happens to bring just one single person towards Hive, it's a win.

It's one person who otherwise wouldn't, or probably wouldn't have visit, so I see each ranked article as a win for us in the long haul. Regardless if it's long-tail, low-competitive keywords or not. Someone, at some point, is likely to search for your specific keywords if you come up with something decent.
