I am usually a very humble person and I frequently ignore peoples stupid mistakes. I try to teach them differently and I give people a second chance on a more or less daily basis. Both in real life and on Hive.

I am eagerly trying to help others around me and I know that it's easy to make mistakes, so I often let things slip and I seldom downvote or attack people who are doing things wrong. Instead, I tell them what to do and how to do things to improve and become better. I believe in good and bad, but I truly want good to conquer, so I always try to solve things in the best possible, easiest and nicest way.

  • It's not always easy though, and some people never learns.

Here you have @aggregator, just one out of many users who behaves like idiots. It's true, I don't really like to call him- or others idiots, but this guy doesn't seem capable of doing things properly. Instead, he desperately tries to take shortcuts by doing one simple thing, something that is considered bad all over the internet, in every single country. He includes links to his own content in rather poor comments he makes.

Like this:

I published an article with the title: Salary At Work - What Makes or BREAKS Morale, and I wrote about my job and included my life experience in that article. I also talked about Hive & LeoFinance, so this guy has a point when he congratulate me for sharing what I have done, but seriously...

  • Congratulations?

Get the fuck out of the comment sections if that is the best thing you can come up with. That goes for this guy and all the other spamming-fucktards out there.

Don't get me wrong though, it's not that I downvoted or muted this user the first time I noticed his spam. I actually replied to him nicely the first time:

The second time this happened, I decided to do something different and I came up with this:

So, I gave him a downvote the second time, but I still told him about it. I did that in an attempt of being nice and to make him truly aware of what would happen if he continued to do what he does..

When this happened now, a third time, and this user has not even replied to my comments, I decided to do this:

However, I actually wrote him one more time and I told him this:

I know that some of you out there would mute this person immediately and never think about it again, but that's not me. I don't do things like that and I still wanted him to change his behaviour. Even though I have muted this user now, I still didn't want to ruin everything for him. I want him to understand that spam will never solve anything, and it is a shortcut to your own disaster.

That being said, this user is not even spamming much. He has done it a handful of times, but I hate this type of behaviour and I will continue to mute users who are doing it. This is just one out of a dozens incoming I suppose..

I rarely mute people, but hey: Congratulations to ending up on my list of muted users!
