Morgan Creek Digital is one of BlockFi’s largest investors. The firm has participated in BlockFi’s Series A through D fundraising rounds and has massive exposure to the company. If they get only pennies on the dollar for all that investment, it would be a disaster for the fund.
That's why the fund is now attempting to raise $250 million from investors to purchase a majority stake in BlockFi, instead of letting FTX take it over and clear out their equity.
At the end of the day, these companies be it Celsius or BlockFi all took a massive risks with customer funds thinking that they would never have to face massive redemptions under a downturn in the market.
The collapse of Ce-Fi in the eyes of millions... BlockFi is trying to raise money from the investors rather than being owned by FTX after the shady moves by Alameda Research by FTX.
I do not want any company to be owned by FTX as I have no trust to Sam in terms of market manipulation. Regardless of the drama, we, once again, understood that De-Fi is the only way in crypto ✌🏼
Final Nail In The Coffin Of Meta's Crypto Payment Network by @l337m45732
After what feels like 10 years (really more like 5), Meta is finally pulling the plug on its crypto payments platform. In January, I wrote about them killing off the Diem platform which already felt way overdue. If I'm not mistaking, facebook set out on this mission to create its own crypto token and payments platform back in 2017.
After a couple rebrands and getting slaps on the wrists by the regulators, they finally called it quits. Now, nearly 6 months after they kill the Diem platform... Novi wallet is the next to go.
Facbook, a.k.a Meta, is coming!
In general, the debut of crypto giants happen when the bear market is happening extremely harsh. As their entrance add value to crypto ecosystem, it is likely to turn everything into green with a couple of positive sentences for the future of BTC and crypto.
I think there will be several users of Meta's new toy but after everything happened due to some centralized crypto firms, I believe t he attention will be less that what many people expect. 2022 Q1 might be a milestone in crypto, who knows 😅

Hive is non-stop onboarding. Via LeoFinance and Splinterlands, we welcomed thousands of people speaking different languages. As a vehicle of communication, world languages are playing critical role in conveying messages from one person to another. Thanks to the nationality communities, it is easier to communicate without language barriers.

What I am doing is I’m iterating.
I’m trying new ways to market my podcasting services. I’m packaging live session recordings in a slightly different way. I’m working on the businesses branding I’m trying different business networking activities I’m incorporating new software tools like Monday.com and Asana to keep track of my projects.
and you know what? sometimes doing new things hurts, because you’re venturing off outside of your comfort zone. You will fail, you will lose money sometimes too.
Shall we start talking about comfort zone?
It is the circle that kills us without noticing. While we are not adding new things to our lives, we mostly lose the opportunities or the new requirements of the occupations that we have.
Failure should be your path to become successfull. It is stressful but also rewarding when you consider your past that is full of fails.
I'm doing it for crypto ecosystem as life long learner.

Staked 200K SPS and my future Splinterland's plan by @r1s2g3
Looking at the current SPS price, the overall value of stake is under 10K USD but somewhere in my deep I am still convinced that SPS is able to make 100x from where it stand. Comparing it's price against the Axie-infinity's AXS, it's value still come over $2 per SPS.
In next few days airdrop is going to end and I guess that few more use case and completed airdrop will start propelling SPS price to upwards. It is also noticeable that till now 840 million SPS has been minted and it make 28% of the max supply. Still it will take more then 5 years (65 months) from now to mint the overall 3 Billion Supply.
Last week we read about SplinterFund post by another amazing author.
Once again, without any single hesitation, we are talking about the importance of having a seperate bag for Splinterlands investment. I have not seen any Play2Earn game that has long time vision and sustainability like Splinterlands yet though I'm a blockchain-based game addict.
The 365 days of airdrop is about to over. When it happens, there will be less sell-pressure and more developments will be prioritized by the team.
