I try to delegate what layer 2 tokens I can to accounts that will provide a passive income. I've built up a list that I use, over time - and I have to say it took a while to find them all.

Notes

  • I really like the LOLZ token (like a lot !), and as can be seen a lot of the delegations I use are to a LOLZ account. In turn they payout out a daily amount of LOLZ each. And then because I'm a holder of more than 512 LOLZ, I also get daily payouts back on some of those layer2 tokens (a different one or two each day of the week) - which is a nice little compounding synergy,
  • There are other tokens that you can also delegate to LOLZ, but I dont delegate them all. Examples are HIVE, LEO, SPT - as I have other uses for those tokens,
  • I know of other accounts I could delegate some other layer2 tokens to as well, but I keep some of them in a staked state for curation reasons. LEO is a good example, as said above I could delegate it to LOLZ or some other accounts, but I'm an active poster in #leofinance and I'd prefer to not to delegate my LEO in order to buildup my LEO curation rewards,
  • As can be seen by the list, there are a few accounts I'm not quite sure about, and probably need to check further to see if they are actually doing anything.

My weekly routine

  • Each Friday I go through all of the tokens I've been awarded in the week, and stake all of the ones I can,
  • I then go and delegate each token I can to the accounts noted,
  • For ALIVE, I keep 1001 ALIVE undelegated, as I want to be able to keep tipping with ALIVE - any tokens delegated dont count towards your tally needed to allow ALIVE tipping.

So this brings in a small passive income daily/weekly. And it is small, but its compounding and hence growing all the time, and it only takes like 15mins a week to manage. So its all part of accumulating and growing passive income on HIVE.

Anyway, if you are aware of any others that are worth considering I'd love to hear about them - please drop them in comments - and I'll aim to TIP any shared !
