Its PIZZA Power Up Day (PPUD) - the 2nd ever PPUD. Have you Pud'd yet ?

And we've hit the 14th of July, and that means its PIZZA Power Up Day (PPUD). PPUD was kicked of last month, and I was lucky to catch it by chance. So its 2 out of 2 for me !

But in short:

  • Its an opportunity to stake your hard earned PIZZA to help towards your investment goals,
  • With PIZZA staking offering 12% APR paid daily, it'll help you to grow more,
  • As your stack of staked PIZZA grows, you can claim more weekly rewards from PIZZA discord (see below),
  • You can also start tipping more PIZZA on posts, if you break one of the tipping thresholds (which start at 20 staked to make five 0.1 PIZZA tips per day),
  • And if you can hit a stake of 300 PIZZA or more in the PPUD window - you'll also earn one of their cool PPUD NFTs !

So I'm still at a low level on PIZZA, but I think its a great project, and the community is super supportive - so for me its worth growing in. I'm only managing a 52 PIZZA stake today.

However, thats more than I managed last month and that now takes me to 307.

I'm working towards the 500 mark, which I should gain during Augusts PPUD. And here's why:

  • I'll be able to make 15 tips per day (I can currently make 10),
  • I'll gain access to the third tier of weekly prizes on PIZZA discord,
  • My daily staking reward will take a nice little boost,
  • And I think its a good project, so stacking up PIZZA will benefit me in the long run.

And look at those two beauties I just found in the freezer - I might have to eat em both in celebration !

Now onto discord:

  • If you havent checked it out, PIZZA discord is a lot of fun - heres the link:
  • Its a really fun, active and supportive community,
  • There is a lot of expertise in there about Hive in general, so if you have a query, you can usually get an answer,
  • They have some pretty cool events - music nights, quizzes, gartic (a picture guessing game thats pretty fun) and most of these including getting tipped with PIZZA for participation,
  • They also have frequent PIZZA airdrops,
  • And they also have weekly prizes which are pretty cool, and get rather epic as you work up through the prize tiers.

So if you like the sound of it, give it a try - you'll get a nice warm welcome - and start enjoying the fun, oh and the tips and the giveaways.

Also, discord is pretty cool on PPUD day, as each time someone stakes some PIZZA it gets announced by a bot in the main chat - and its fun watching all the stakes coming through. Sort of similar to watching the results coming in on election night although knowing that you then wont be hit with a disaster of a government at the end of the day!

Oh - and then we have it all to do again tomorrow with LPUD (Leo Power Up day) - and I'll also be joining that !

Anyway, thats my update for the day. Will you be PPUD'ing - heres hoping !
