One year today with the Saturday Savers Club - and a 4K HP increase to show for it !

Well today marks my one year anniversary of being in the Saturday Savers Club (SSC) ! And what a year its been. Heres a link to my first post from exactly one year ago:

The table above compares what I had in place back then to what I have now:

  • The top half is a copy of the table I presented in the first post a year ago, also showing the change from what I had then, to what I have now,
  • The bottom half shows other tokens that have been important to me over the year, but were not on my radar then then,
  • Green are the ones that are most important to me now,
  • Yellow are ones that may become more important to me in the future.

Looking at the top half its interesting to see that there are a number of things I considered important then, but not so much now. UTOPIS stands out. It was a project that I really liked, but unfortunately it sort of went to the wall. Although, the tokens are still available, and then still make payouts for staking them (although its small beer stuff) - would love to see some life brought back into that project.

Looking at the main top 3 that are important for me now, there has been a considerable difference in a year:

  1. HIVE POWER - has gone from 365 to 4317 thats +3952 HP in the year, nearly a 4K increase. I'm pretty happy with that !
  2. SPS - I had none this time last year, and now have +906 SPS. I know its not huge, but its a token I'll be working on and am looking to grow,
  3. LEO - I've gone from zero to +2439 LEO, all down to LPUD, and building a passive income through delegation to @leo.vote and @india-leo to make sure I have enough for LPUD each month.

So just between those three - its really been a nice year !

And there are a few others that I'd like to make a special mention about:

  • HBD - its a very important token for me. I have none just now (!) but thats because I think its better to have funds in HIVE at the moment due to the low price of HIVE, but if HIVE goes above $1, then I will be sinking a large amount back into HBD - I just cant ignore that 20% APR !
  • LOLZ - I think this is a great project, with the DEFI side of things and dividends that are paid out daily once you hold a certain number of LOLZ. I delegate a lot of layer2 items to them, and get more LOLZ in return, which generates more layer2 payouts, etc - its a nice little self feeding circle !
  • EDS, EDSMM, SPI, XV - I like the stable of tokens from @SPInvest. The offer great investment vehicles and nice passive returns across the range, and I'll continue to invest in these.

Well, I've really enjoyed a year in SSC. I look forward to doing my saturday update post each week, and then reading through the posts from the rest of the contributors. Its great for learning about the various projects and tokens, and great for picking up tips around what is best to invest in. I'm pretty darn happy with a 4K HP increase, and will do my best to beat that going forward. Heres looking forward to another year(+). Many thanks to @shanibeer for managing the SSC !
