Saturday Savers Club Progress week 3 - 2023 - 24/01/23 - Not posting as much as I need to

Its week 3 of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @susie-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

For the near future I will just be focusing on generating HIVE. So my main target is my Hive Power annual goal, and then other methods that contribute to that.

Weekly Stats

It will take a few more weeks to set up all the stats I want to track, hence the table is not quite complete yet.

Weekly Commentary

I've been really busy this last week or so, and hence this is being posted late and represents 10 days of growth, not a week - but I'm not going to modify the stats, etc, they will sort themselves out soon enough when I get back into the routine.

  • My weekly gain was +162 HP which is very good, and above my 12 week moving average of 150 HP,
  • My HP total is 3863 HP, so need a further 6137 HP to hit my 10K target, which at 49 weeks to go requires 125 HP per week. I have to say that I'm finding this weekly target quite tough, and having been away quite a few days this last couple of weeks know that it wont be even nearly hit next week. However, its nice to be close to the 4K mark !,
  • My Hivestats weekly author reward was +106 HP so not quite as high as it needs to be,
  • My hivestats weekly curation reward was +2.65 HP which is down from last weeks +3.18 HP but its still quite good for me, and reflects that I havent been on so much as I've been away,
  • I picked up +1 EDSMMs - I'll keep picking the odd one up when I can,
  • I had better a than average weekly increase for HP, undelegated HP, curation rewards, EDS, DHEDGE and ARCHON,
  • My weekly HIVE income from other sources (30 day moving average) was +1.7143 compared to +4.269 HIVE the previous week, with the drop representing some odd higher payments that have now dropped out of the 30 day moving average window, so this figure is probably more reflective of what it really is,
  • In terms of targets, I'm currently on track (based on my 12 week moving averages) to hit everything, except the EDS and DHEDGE targets - however, I will just buy what is needed to hit those along the way (those two targets are not massive),
  • HBD:HIVE trading - I was a little unlucky and missed a couple of nice trades due to a couple I had set up timing out while I was away - lesson learned !.

Considering I've been away a lot then this week's figures are not too bad, but I will take quite a hit next week. It just shows that its hard to keep on top of things daily when other life aspects are kicking in !. And the price of HIVE continues to go up, so that will continue to hit my HP income, but thats fine - it has many other benefits, and I'll adjust accordingly !

Plan for the coming week

  • To continue to (try and) post daily to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards - this is what has made the world of difference these last few months, and importantly, to produce posts that bring in good rewards - which I need to keep reminding myself off,
  • To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
  • To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
  • HBD:HIVE Trading - when the price of HIVE is below $0.40 I will be selling all HBD rewards for HIVE, Powering up some, and then setting buy orders with the remainder to buy back into HBD. My main buy back orders are in the region of $0.48 to $0.80, and with the price of HIVE moving again, we'll see what happens !,
  • To keep taking regular profits (weekly and monthly) from some other token income streams to fund investment in layer 2 tokens or pools that payout in HIVE or HP - EDS and EDSMMs are particular targets at the moment,
  • To produce a monthly article for the SPinvest account, which pays a 5 SPI reward to help towards that target - and I've just posted my first one today, which you can check out here,
  • I've started delegating HP to some other accounts to help support my HIVE income from other sources, and made a start with @brofi. The plan is to delegate 20% of my weekly HP increase, keeping the other 80% as HP so that I continue to increase in HP as well - we'll see how this pans out,
  • I've also started looking through my other layer 2 tokens and putting ones I'm not using up for sale, to generate more swap.hive to either power up or put into other tokens that provide a passive income in HIVE.

So its been a good week all things considered, and hopefully I can get back to regular posting soon !
