Saturday Savers Club Progress #week 41 - 31/12/22 - just short of 3.5K HP for the end of the year

Its week 41 of my savings focus since joining the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @susie-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

For the near future I will just be focusing on generating HIVE. So my main target is my Hive Power annual goal, and then other methods that contribute to that.

Weekly Stats

It will take a few more weeks to set up all the stats I want to track, hence the table is not quite complete yet.

Weekly Commentary

  • I had already hit my annual target of 3000 HP, and was now seeing if it was possible to get to 3500 - I got close at 3469, and am exceedingly happy with that prefromance for the year to be honest,
  • My weekly gain was +185 HP which is very good, noting that its also well above my 12 weekly moving average of 124 HP per week,
  • My HP total is 3469 HP, so just 31 away from 3500,
  • My Hivestats weekly author reward was +219 HP, which is very good for me, although noting that this new low price of HIVE is really helping with post rewards - so get posting !,
  • My hivestats weekly curation reward was +1.99 HP, a small drop compared to last week, but still good for me,
  • EDSMMs have sold out again (wow !!!), so I wasnt able to get any this week,
  • I had better than average weekly increases across HP, un-delegated HP, author rewards, curation rewards and DHEDGE,
  • My weekly HIVE income from other sources (30 day moving average) was +3.907 compared to +4.371 the previous week, but still distorted by the one off income from the @hivebuzz world cup competition,
  • HBD:HIVE trading - selling HBD at this low HIVE price is great, and I set a few new buy back orders at $0.323 this week - I've no idea what will happen to the price in the new year, so we'll see what happens - but a few trades back and fore would be nice !.

All in all it was quite a good week, and an awesome year. I intend to do an end of year post - but it may have to wait until the first week of the new year as I'm away visiting relatives.

Plan for the coming week

  • To continue to post daily to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards - this is what has made world of difference these last few months, and I've also looked at which posts generate more, which has also helped significantly,
  • To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
  • To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
  • HBD:HIVE Trading - while the price of HIVE is below $0.40 I will be selling all HBD rewards for HIVE, and then setting buy orders to buy back into HBD. My main buy back orders are in the region of $0.48 to $0.80. But with this new low in HIVE, I've placed a few others at $0.323 which may allow some short term, small gain trades,
  • To keep taking regular profits (weekly and monthly) from some other token income streams to fund investment in layer 2 tokens or pools that payout in HIVE or HP - EDS and EDSMMs are particular targets at the moment.

I'm looking forward to setting some new targets in the new year, and also looking into some other options for generating HP income passively.
