Saturday Savers Club Progress week 6 - 2023 - 11/02/23 - HP gains getting back on track

Its week 6 of my savings focus for 2023 with the Saturday Savers Club which I think is a great Hive community initiative run by @shanibeer writing as @sally-saver on the @eddie-earner account.

For the near future I will just be focusing on generating HIVE. So my main target is my Hive Power annual goal, and then other methods that contribute to that.

Weekly Stats

It will take a few more weeks to set up all the stats I want to track, hence the table is not quite complete yet.

Weekly Commentary

• My weekly gain was +90 HP which is below my 12 week moving average of 138 HP, but its still a nice increase, so I'm quite happy with that,
• My HP total is 3991 HP, so need a further 6009 HP to hit my 10K target, which at 46 weeks to go requires 130 HP per week (gone up another 1 per week). So the annual target is getting tricky to say the least. However, I'm closing in on the 4K mark which will be a nice morale boost,
• My Hivestats weekly author reward was +105 HP a nice improvement on the previous week and getting to where it needs to be,
• My Hivestats weekly curation reward was +3.19, my highest ever and only the second time I've broken 3, so thats great - I'm happy if it keeps on increasing gradually,
• I had a better than average weekly increase for curation rewards and DHEDGE,
• Now that I have started delegating some HP to DHEDGE, my weekly income from that is increasing (+0.76 this week), so thats helping with that target,
• My weekly HIVE income from other sources (30 day moving average) was +0.99 HIVE compared to +1.76 last week, reflecting my true weekly income without odd payments from competitions. Growth on this is quite slow to say the least, but its to be expected,
• In terms of targets, I'm currently on track (based on my 12 week moving averages) to hit HP and SPI, but not EDS, DHEDGE or ARCHON - in the coming weeks I'll keep delegating some more HP to @dhegde which will resolve that one, and then I'll buy whats needed for EDS and ARCHON over the year,
• HBD:HIVE trading - Its been another busy week. HIVE continued to go up after I reported last saturday, which allowed a few more trades to go through and then there was another HBD spike up to $1.30 mid week. In total I had 24 trades go through, which is way more than I normally get in a week so its been another great week on the trading front.

Plan for the coming week

• To continue to post daily to ensure daily HBD and HIVE author rewards - this is what has made the world of difference these last few months, and importantly, to produce posts that bring in good rewards - which I need to keep reminding myself off,
• To be active in HIVE Blog curation to help with HIVE curation rewards,
• To continue to increase undelegated HIVE in order to improve HIVE curation rewards,
• HBD:HIVE Trading - again I'll be quite focused this coming week incase these crazy swings keep happening - got to make sure I'm ready for them just incase, which means having HBD and HIVE buys setup depending on which way things swing,
• To keep taking regular profits (weekly and monthly) from some other token income streams to fund investment in layer 2 tokens or pools that payout in HIVE or HP - EDS and EDSMMs are particular targets at the moment,
• To produce a monthly article for the @SPinvest account, which pays a 5 SPI reward to help towards that target,
• I've started delegating HP to some other accounts to help support my HIVE income from other sources. The plan is to delegate 20% of whatever I power up each week. This week I will be delegating to @dhedge to help my DHEDGE growth (they pay out daily DHEDGE drips at a rate of 21% APR - that sounds not too bad for a HP delegation),
• I've also been selling other layer 2 tokens I'm not using, to generate more swap.hive to put into tokens that provide a passive income in HIVE.

So it was a good week on post rewards, curation and passive income and a great week on the trading front - heres looking forward to next week. And as a reminder, its LPUD on Wednesday the 15th !
