It was an expression widely used in the past, my grandmother always mentioned it when she discovered or noted that something that seemed very good was not really so.

According to my own experience and also because of how much I have read and continue to do, something similar happens with blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Every day we hear more and better qualities about this new development, the price of BTC and the increasing adoption of technology and digital currencies thus seem to confirm it.

However along with these achievements problems and scams have also grown, some will say that you spend every day in the financial world with fiat money. Yes, it is true but it is also true that one of the most publicized qualities of the blockchain and smart contracts is the security of transactions.

To take just a few examples, I will mention the fairly recent cases that occurred in Spain with 2gether and Arbistar, they show that we are still a long way from solving some of the main problems: the security of our assets. A few days ago I wrote about passive profits and risky investments, I mentioned a company that is recommended by some as well as reviled by others, it seems that the latter was right and this MTI company has left a trail of victims, at least to the day of today this is so.

As always happens, the security of our digital assets and the transactions we carry out with them will have to be careful and we will have to take extreme precautions, as we have always done with our conventional money, but with an additional risk that we must not ignore: laws and regulations. about cryptocurrencies are still in development and even in many countries, they do not even exist.

The greatest danger with these new technologies is that it is and will continue to be for a long time, totally unknown to the vast majority of people. Therefore, the news about thefts, scams and mistakes made by cryptocurrency holders will continue and will surely expand in the coming years. Unfortunately.

Fue una expresión muy utilizada en épocas pasadas, mi abuela siempre la mencionaba cuando descubría o se anoticiaba que algo que parecía muy bueno en realidad no lo era tanto.

Según mi propia experiencia y también por lo mucho que he leído y continúo haciendo, con la blockchain y las cryptomonedas ocurre algo similar. Todos los días escuchamos más y mejores cualidades sobre este nuevo desarrollo, la cotización del BTC y la creciente adopción de la tecnología y las monedas digitales así parecen confirmarlo.

Sin embargo junto con estos logros también han crecido los problemas y las estafas, algunos dirán que pasa todos los días en el mundo financiero con el dinero fiduciario. Si es cierto pero también es cierto que una de las cualidades más publicitadas de la blockchain y los contratos inteligentes es la seguridad de las transacciones.

Para tomar solo algunos pocos ejemplos mencionaré los casos bastante recientes ocurridos en España con 2gether y Arbistar, demuestran que aún estamos muy lejos de resolver algunos de los principales problemas: la seguridad de nuestros activos. Hace algunos pocos días escribí sobre ganancias pasivas y las inversiones de riesgo, mencioné una empresa tan recomendada por algunos como denostada por otros, bien parece ser que estos últimos tenían razón y esta empresa MTI ha dejado un tendal de damnificados, al menos al día de hoy esto es así.

Como siempre ocurre, la seguridad de nuestros activos digitales y las transacciones que realicemos con ellos tendrán que ser cuidadosas y deberemos extremar todos los recaudos, como siempre lo hemos hecho con nuestro dinero convencional, pero con un riesgo adicional que no debemos soslayar: las leyes y reglamentaciones sobre cryptomonedas todavía están en desarrollo e inclusive en muchos países ni siquiera existen.

El mayor peligro con estas nuevas tecnologías está en que es y lo seguirá siendo por mucho tiempo, totalmente desconocida para la gran mayoría de las personas. Por lo tanto las noticias sobre robos, estafas y errores cometidos por los tenedores de cryptomonedas continuarán y seguramente irán ampliándose en los próximos años. Lamentablemente.
