The token based on a meme - El token basado en un meme

For some time we have been hearing news about Dogecoin, some surprising, by the way. But what does this cryptocurrency mean, represent and is new?

To be honest, it was born as a joke, a meme that parodied all the cryptocurrencies on the market. At least it is what its creator Billy Markus claims, it was a satire he says. And he took it so much as a joke that he abandoned the project and got rid of all the tokens of that denomination some years ago.

Of course, he never expected Elon Musk to lay eyes on her or to be graphic, his tweets. Because a few tweets from the creator of Tesla were enough for the Dogecoin to rise in value as strongly as unexpectedly. Although that was not the first time that the token had a high price, in December 2017 when BTC made its famous first jump to the Moon all other cryptocurrencies accompanied it, including the meme of the well-known Shiba Inu dog, a Japanese breed of small size, agile, affectionate and fearless.

Dogecoin is similar in its conception to Litecoin, it is based on a decentralized cryptographic protocol, up to there the main characteristics that, as you will see, do not differ at all from many others.

So we must ask ourselves why the rise and price of this currency, well, we have already given an answer: Elon Musk gave it a strong boost by mentioning it. But there is other news that is also making this token an investment alternative, speculative? It may be, in the world of finance and the economy, there are very strong components of speculation, expectations, faith, and also real and concrete facts that support an asset.

The famous rapper Snoop Dogg and also the bassist of Kiss Gene Simmons have spoken of the token of the dog and promoted its acquisition and of course rise in the price and now Mark Cuban, owner and CEO of the NBA team Dallas Mavericks, a pioneer in the use of cryptocurrencies, recently announced the acceptance of Dogecoin as a means of payment for the acquisition of merchandise and promotional objects of the franchise and once again the doggy meme monopolizes the general attention.

Again speculation and expectation. Cuban predicts that the Dogecoin will hit $ 1 and based on those claims, endorsements, and usability of the parody coin, it will likely materialize.

Surely and just in case, many will try to acquire some of these puppies to keep in their portfolios.

Desde hace algún tiempo venimos escuchando noticias sobre el Dogecoin, algunas sorprendentes, por cierto. ¿Pero qué significa, representa y tiene de novedoso esa criptomoneda?

Para ser sincero, nació como una broma, un meme que parodiaba a todas las criptomonedas del mercado. Al menos es lo que afirma su creador Billy Markus, era una sátira dice. Y se lo tomó tan en broma que abandonó el proyecto y se desprendió de todos los tokens de esa denominación hace ya algunos años.

Por supuesto jamás esperó que Elon Musk pusiera sus ojos en ella o para ser gráficos, sus tweets. Porque bastaron algunos tweets del creador de Tesla para que el Dogecoin subiera su valor tan fuerte como inesperadamente. Aunque esa no fue la primera vez que el token tuviera una cotización alta, en diciembre de 2017 cuando el BTC dio su famoso primer salto a la Luna todas las demás criptomonedas lo acompañaron, incluyendo el meme del conocido perro Shiba Inu, una raza japonesa de pequeño tamaño, ágil, cariñoso e intrépido.

El Dogecoin es similar en su concepción al Litecoin, está basado en un protocolo criptográfico descentralizado, hasta allí las características principales que como verán no se diferencia en nada de otras muchas.

Entonces debemos preguntarnos el porque del auge y cotización de esta moneda, bien, una respuesta ya hemos dado: Elon Musk le dio un fuerte impulso al mencionarla. Pero hay otras noticias que también están haciendo de este token una alternativa de inversión, ¿especulativa? Puede ser, en el mundo de las finanzas y la economía hay componentes muy fuertes de especulación, expectativas, fe y también hechos reales y concretos que dan soporte a un activo.

El famoso rapero Snoop Dogg y también el bajista de Kiss Gene Simmons han hablado del token del perrito e impulsaron su adquisición y por supuesto alza en la cotización y ahora Mark Cuban, dueño y CEO del equipo de la NBA Dallas Mavericks, pionero en la utilización de criptomonedas, recientemente ha anunciado la aceptación del Dogecoin como medio de pago para la adquisición de mercancía y objetos de promoción de la franquicia y otra vez el meme del perrito acapara la atención general.

Nuevamente la especulación y la expectativa. Cuban vaticina que el Dogecoin llegará a 1 dólar y en base a esas afirmaciones, apoyos y usabilidad de la moneda parodia, probablemente se concrete.

Seguramente y por las dudas, muchos tratarán de adquirir algunos de estos perritos para guardar en sus portafolios.
