That’s something all newcomers should prioritise. And actually now is still an easy time ! In few months with a larger population on Leo, newcomers posts will be flowing even more and will have even less chance to get a nice chunk of upvotes. Right now we are lucky our whales are dedicating a lot of effort to newcomers, but it will get diluted with an increasing number of Lions.
