CMC & FootPrint - GameFi Report Analysis

Coinmarketcap has several tools that are informative and useful. Two weeks ago, we talked about the Headlines and Communities on Coinmarketcap and now we are focusing on the reports shared on Articles section.You can see Coinmarketcap-related posts on our CMC LeoCommunity and get information from talented content creators of Hive.

The recent report of CMC and FootPrint had key points that we should discuss to get ready for the next bull-run. I believe the overall performance of Hive blockchain and Splinterlands is satisfactory and the crypto ecosystem is aware of their strong sides.

There are also some parts that we may need to strengthen. Let's discuss them together ✌🏼

Crypto Up -> GameFi Up

I'm going to utilize both Coinmarketcap's article and reports on Footprint. First of all, Play2Earn and GameFi models are still an infant. They are going to be addressed by millions when they are ready to host them. For now, the outlook is fine enough.

In crypto, we enjoy assessing the performance of something by comparing to Bitcoin's performance at these timeframes. As you can see over there, there is a sweet correlation between GameFi and Bitcoin marketcap actions.

GameFi gets a giant ✅

WAX & HIVE are Called "Gaming Chains"

I do not want to be greedy but Hive is beyond an X chain. It is an ecosystem. On the other hand, the newly gained tag for Hive is positive as people learn and explore Hive thanks to the success of the chain in Splinterlands operations ( up to 5 million txs per day)

WAX is also nice but the percentage of Hive cannot be limited to 10% in gaming transactions.

Hive should be advertised for new and promising Blockchain-based games
The data retrieved by FootPrint and others should be double-checked and up-to-date.
Hive may grab some games for on-chain transactions while tokens are traded on other chains. (Operations require Hive Power 😉 )

Our target should be 20% until the next-bull run!

Market Share of Avg Gamers: Nice to catch up with WAX. Total tx data should also be like this.

Splinterlands is REALLY the best.

AlienWorlds is a nice project but hard to claim that it is a "game". Some people call it clickable De-Fi 😅

Data clearly shows that Splinterlands is by far the best game with thousands of gamers even in the deepest bear market!

There is nothing to say about this, amazing team does amazing stuff 🔥

MultiChain Gaming -> Hive!

This chart summarizes what I try to narrate. Projects go cross-chain. Secure your game with on-chain operations via Hive and trade the tokens on another chain. It is also a huge win for Hive.

We want people to taste Hive and they will already adore Web3 experience in our ecosystem. We must monopolize the multichain concept ASAP!

Hive Data!

The data on Footprint's hands say that Hive only has 3 active projects.

I think it is truly misleading. Hive have several active projects but we cannot show off because of the data the data trackers have. We need to do something on it.

VOLUME is Crucial!

Once again we see that Splinterlands cannot prove its on-chain volume properly to the data tackers. Moreover, the data trackers only take data from Top Chains. So, SPS on BNB Chain is the only parameter in this case. Ridiculous!

Splinterlands tokens (SPS majorly) should be supported with volume bots! The market maker bots should be used to boost the trading volume or to rectlect the actual volume of the tokens. As of writing, the situation is unbelievable.

Splinterlands is the leading game of crypto ecosystem. YET, it does not even have a position on the chart showing top 20 trade volume of GameFi projects. This should be fixed.

Overall - Hive is a Known and Reputable Chain!

Hive could save itself from a hardfork chain to GameFi or Web3 chain with the amazing projects at the top of it. People come to Hive for freespeech, content monetization, play2earn and more. Among these categories, I hope to have high volume De-Fi projects, as well.

I think Multichain transactions, provision of real Hive data and volume of Gaming are the most important aspects to be handled. GameFi is one of the strongest side of Hive. Let's onboard some great projects by being one of the "GameFi Chains" 😉
