Prior to the start of this year, we had our LEO Goals for 2023 where we outlined how much Leo Power we want to have and what are the things we intend to do to achieve them and whether we have alternative plans when things go unexpectedly.

And initiatives like the Saturday Savers Club do help in keeping us on track and grind the best we can. And so on 7th January, I confirmed my participation to the Saturday Savers Club 2023 Challenge through my Personal Roadmap post indicating that my main goal for the year is to have no less than 15k Leo Power.

At that time, my stakes were as follows:

On 14th of January, I posted an update through a comment to the Week 2 SSC Post of my progress, re:

  • Leo Power: 8,348 LP
  • Hive Power: 665 HP

And today 21st of January, these are my stakes:

  • Leo Power: 8,466 LP
  • Hive Power: 679 HP

A small growth of 1.4% on my Leo Power (118LP) and 2.10% on my Hive Power (14HP) from last week. I decided to power up any LEO that I have in my wallet and also stake one (1) HIVE daily as a way to grow my Hive Power and to participate in the HPUM initiative by @hivebuzz.

To sum up the first 3 weeks of the month:

Keeping my goals simple helps me avoid being overwhelmed. At least I know what to really focus on and not get sidetracked. I do buy other Layer 2 tokens like EDSMM and BRO but I'm consolidating them on my main a/c for this time being.

If you are challenged with sticking to your goals for the year, come join us in the Saturday Savers Club and let's motivate each other as we work towards our targets. There's also the 365-Penny-A-Day Savings Challenge where we are encouraged (taught) to save pennies each day to end up with at least 66,795 at the end of the year. I'm applying this on my HBD and HIVE Savings on my main account and it's fun to see them grow slowly but surely.

Thank you and Happy weekend!
