The Goal of Stacking Up
The first 5 moons of the year has gone and we are now welcoming the 6th. Just where all those days and months went, only our memories would tell. Time definitely flies and it's quite hard to believe that I'm already twenty-five months-old on this blockchain which we call home. Whew!
I found my momentum and became active on this chain in January 2022 when I made it my decision to grow along with others. I have been powering up every single day since. My account had barely 300 Hive Power then. One year ago today (1st June 2022), my HP was 3,138 and it has now grown to 10,633 HP prior to today's power up.
HPUD
Because it's the 1st of the month, it's time to honor the HivePUD tradition of powering up more than 10 HIVE within the UTC timezone. That is also 'coz I am very intentional on building for the long run and one of the best ways to do that is by growing my Hive Power. Earlier today, I staked 100 HIVE which brought my HP to 10,733.
My goal for the year is to have 15k HP before December 31st which means I will have to add at least 610 HIVE every month or an average of 20 HIVE daily in the next 7 months. Hoping to be able to cross that target.
HPUM
Hivebuzz has the Hive Power Up Month initiative and I have also been participating in it since last year. Today marks my 517th daily streak of powering up at least 1 HIVE a day. Last month, I had been staking 5 HIVE everyday and I will be doing the same this June. As my HP grows, the vote value of my account also increases (current vote value at 100% is $0.34 according to Hivestats) hence, my curation rewards grow as well. All these contribute towards achieving my year-end goal.
I will of course continue to stack up on Hive Power. It helps that the price of HIVE is at an affordable range and it excites me seeing my account grow day by day.
